Just got a text from @ryanlemond that he is unable to eat anything bc he got sicker-punched by a South Carolina student at the UK game
I asked if he was ok and after he said yes (but in pain), I said, “Don’t say another word, let’s talk about it on KSR tomorrow”

The legendary Jackie Gleason was born OTD in 1916
For Smokey and the Bandit, he modelled Sheriff Buford T. Justice on Burt Reynolds’ father, a Florida lawman, where “sumbitch” came from. Gleason mostly improvised, making this one of the greatest comedy performances of all time.

Back in 1991, then-UK coach @RealPitino brought in former Rupp's Runts great and Hall of Fame coach Pat Riley to speak before an SEC game. I was lucky enought to capture the moment for Pitino's TV show. Riley and the Runts will be honored tonight during @KentuckyMBB's game
