We're proud to rank in the top 5 for library services in this year’s NSS! 🥳 We’re here to support you. If you need something, we’ll do our best to get it. We also offer wellbeing resources, and don’t forget to visit Izzie the therapy dog for some TLC! rwcmd.ac.uk/library

Had the most fun with @HelGriffiths yesterday creating a fun festive display in @RWCMDLibrary - inspired by the college's fabulous Director of Music 🎶🎄#TimRhysEvans @RWCMD – at Newport, Wales

Absolutely! Applies to lots of other professions too. We have been low on staff members for various reasons this term but I have gained a lot from spending more hours doing issue desk work @RWCMDLibrary. It helps me focus on the core values of our service - the students 💕

Something I don’t think is discussed enough - how important it is for middle & senior leaders to remember what it’s like for a teacher ‘on the ground’ to teach full period days, often for 2-3 days back to back. Also, the accompanying markload, and inevitable cognitive fatigue.

Delighted to introduce my newest research output, the first part of a large-scale project: a searchable database of Welsh keyboard music, 17th-20th centuries. Hope it proves interesting and helpful! @TyCerdd_org @LLGCymru @RWCMD welshmusic.rwcmd.ac.uk/

Today - 20th November 2020 was my 20th work anniversary at @RWCMDLibrary. Seen a lot of changes in that time but wouldn't change a thing.

We love this video by @DukeLibraries showing how to use request and collect to get your library items! Our current system is very similar – don’t forget to request your items on our library catalogue and make an appointment to collect them. #LibraryTakeout

We’ve been hard at work creating a new online resource to share elements that we’ve digitised from the Foyle Opera Rara collection. We’re still working on it but you can check it out here: flickr.com/photos/rwcmdarchi… #RWCMDArchives 🎶🎭💌

Please. Just stay home a little longer. Maybe go out for a quiet drink midweek instead. Stay local. Stay outdoors. Stay 2 metres apart. We've all of us sacrificed a lot over the past few months. Don't let it go to waste now. Please. 6/
