MAJOR ORDER FAILED:
The efforts of the Helldivers to support the inspiration and education of our citizens was heartlessly stolen by our enemies. Limited footage of Helldivers defending Freedom was gathered; the decision was made by the studio to instead construct the footage digitally.
The ballooning budget means that proceeds can no longer support the construction of the Malevelon Creek Memorial & Interrogation Center for Human Rights.
NEW PATCH :Devoid of Liberty 7.2.2
This hotfix intends to resolve some crashing for players, as well as some adjustments to stratagem balancing.
Stratagems:
1) AMW-20 APEX-
Problem we want to solve:
- Demolition strength was too low resulting in being unable to destroy things that weapons in the same category could (Anti Material Rifle and Autocannon)
- Its Caliber was too high and made the damage dropoff too steep
- Incorrect information about its armor penetration caused confusion as to what the weapon was able to do
Intent and expectation with the changes:
- It is now able to destroy larger things such as covers, container doors etc in line with similar weapons of its power
- Lower damage drop off over longer distances, which will make it work better as a sniper and fit the believability of the rounds
Correctly displays the armor penetration level in the armory so players know better what they can use the weapon against.
Changes:
-Decreased caliber from 60 to 20
- Fixed, so it correctly displays armor penetration is “Anti-Tank”
- Increased demolition strength to 30
2)LAS-44 NOVA -
Problem we want to solve:
- Incorrect information about its armor penetration confused players as to how the weapon would perform
Intent and expectation with the changes:
- Correctly displays the armor penetration level in the armory so players know better what they can use the weapon against.
Changes:
- Fixed so it correctly displays armor penetration as “Anti-Tank”
Correction:
SG-22 BUSHWACKER -
- The Bushwacker changes in the previous patch were calculated incorrectly
- The correct values are
- Increased damage from 405 to 486
- Increased durable damage from 108 to 135
Fixes:
- Fixed rare crash in renderer on PC and Xbox
- Fixed a rare crash on boot
### Misc
- Removed two music tracks, does not affect gameplay

MAJOR ORDER:
The Ministry of Truth is producing an inspirational education film called "Democratic Sniper." Proceeds from the film will go towards construction of the Malevelon Creek Memorial & Interrogation Center for Human Rights, and entitlement payouts for families of fallen soldiers.
The film is a dramatic re-enactment of the story of the deadliest Helldiver in the history of the Second Galactic War, with over 4,000 confirmed kills in the course of their 32 minutes of service. It stars Kurt Calhoun, voted 2186's most Democratic bachelor.
Much of the film will consist of real battlefield footage. The Helldivers are ordered to kill 300,000,000 Terminids, 65,000,000 Illuminates, and 50,000,000 Automatons to ensure this story is told with the visual spectacle it deserves.
HELLDIVERS 2: ORBITAL AIRBURST STRIKE BUFF!
-Cooldown reduced: 100s → 90s
-Explosion cone angle reduced: 35° → 27°
The tighter shrapnel spread should cover the target area more effectively, while the shorter cooldown makes this stratagem available more often!

Three light-penetration shotguns are getting damage buffs!
SG-8 Punisher
- Damage: 405 → 486
- Durable damage: 108 → 135
SG-225 Breaker
- Damage: 330 → 396
- Durable damage: 66 → 88
SG-225SP Breaker Spray&Pray
- Damage: 240 → 288
- Durable damage: 64 → 80
These buffs aim to make the shotguns hit harder and take down enemies faster.
