Cap π§’
I went through the comments and it reminded me why I donβt feel sorry for boys who make some money and then go broke overnight.
Most of you are extremely stvpid. If it werenβt for peer pressure and tryna show off, whatβs your business owning a car with only a 20m net worth? Especially when you donβt have a steady source of income???

Dear Mayor @Ekitipikin happy weekend sir . My name is Mirabel, a proud Ekiti girl though I also have Edo blood in my veins. A graduate of Eksu & also a small business owner who resides in Ado Ekiti .
I saw the ranking and your post, though I wonβt join those who are not even from here (and donβt live here) to throw insults or disrespect and That is uncalled for.
You are an indigene whose voice carries real weight, and I would rather see you keep calling out what needs to be fixed, regardless of political differences.
That said, the lived reality many of us know in Ekiti is very different from the numbers on paper.,The economy is no longer thriving the way it once did. This is further aided by Constant abuse of power by uniformed men, open repression of youths by those in government, and an atmosphere where people are afraid to openly support candidates they believe in (for fear of being maimed or worse) have silenced a lot of voices.
The Opposition parties to the ruling government in power can barely hold meaningful rallies or show public support without fear, The Youths have largely lost their voice. There have even been cases where semi-literate women were pressured through certain βwomen-supporting-womenβ groups into releasing NIN and voterβs card details; when some of us raised the alarm, we were simply removed or shut down. Greed has sunk so deep that oppression is preferred to basic civility.
On infrastructure and investment: beyond the major roads inside town that have been fixed largely for aesthetics, many adjoining and linking roads remain in bad shape. The federal roads leading in and out of Ado-Ekiti are still in a deplorable state. The textile/trade fair complex has steadily deteriorated over the last five years. Nightclubs, business schools, filling stations and other small businesses that used to have life are struggling. Things are unusually expensive, and the suffering is real. Even at the terminals, the charges for waybills often cross into outright extortion.
Around the school areas and surrounding villages, β¦150k can no longer get you a decent one-room self-contain; shared-facility rooms start from β¦200k upward. Many young people , Iβd say a large majority have simply relocated their businesses and families elsewhere because they are exhausted.
I say all this not to attack you, but because the truth on the ground matters more than rankings. You still have the platform and the influence. Keep using it to speak up for better governance,And when the time is right, I hope you can also extend some of that generosity and energy toward genuine small businesses still trying to survive in Ekiti.
Ule labo simi oko o, I wish you continuous positivity and progress in all your endeavors. Alale Ekiti a Gbe in o π
Lmao, you no real.
You skipped the βtill the case was doneβ

You donβt even know what youβre doing
Today in Gusau, I joined Governor Dauda Lawal to launch the Zamfara State Electricity Policy, commission two solar plants and break ground on 36 solar mini grids. Together, they are expected to connect close to 147,000 homes and businesses.
At the Ahmed Sani Yariman Bakura Specialist Hospital, reliable power will help doctors save lives and preserve essential medicines. Government House will move away from diesel, and 34 mini grids will reach communities beyond the grid. This is the Renewed Hope Agenda in action.
I thank President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his leadership and commend Governor Lawal for his commitment to the people of Zamfara. Congratulations to Zamfara on 30 years of statehood.
