The hard truth is this isn’t a very good Ravens team. And it’s not just because Lamar Jackson is missing. The defense isn’t good. It surrenders big plays each week, and can’t hold leads. Not enough pressure, and the coverage is scary. The offense commits too many self-inflicted wounds and the offensive line is porous. Neither side is disciplined. There are too many bloated contracts for vets that aren’t performing. Many players haven’t shaken mental scars from years past. Lamar covered up a lot of roster warts, and without him, they are being exposed.
