What an idiot. Spotify boss tweet seems to troll musicians - music is now 'content' and costs 'zero' to make louderthanwar.com/spotify-bo… via @louderthanwar
Via my chosen music distributor I attempted to release an ambient EP only to be told that @Spotify don’t accept my type of ambient music. It did include the sound of rain and synths. Anyway, if these types of recordings aren’t accepted then what’s this? 👇 open.spotify.com/album/54vGS…
Someone isn’t telling the truth, here. I make music as I enjoy doing so - not expecting anyone to listen and I’m certainly not going to make any money from it. Just another pointless hurdle to get over in these mad times 🙈
And it’s well worth reading the @louderthanwar article on Spotify! Musicians are being taken for a ride, more now than ever!
