Food staples
> 50–75 lbs rice
> 25–40 lbs dried beans/lentils
> 20–30 lbs pasta or oats
> 20+ lbs canned meats (tuna, chicken, spam)
> 30+ cans mixed vegetables & fruit
> 5–10 lbs powdered milk or shelf-stable milk
> Cooking oil, salt, sugar, spices, peanut butter
Water
> Aim for 1 gallon per person per day (360 gallons total) store what you can + get a good filter (Sawyer/LifeStraw) and rain collection
Other basics
> Manual can opener
> First aid kit + 90 days of any meds
> Flashlights, batteries or solar/crank lights
> Toilet paper, soap, hygiene items
> Blankets, warm layers, basic tools
> Battery/solar power banks + AM/FM radio
Start small and build. Better to have it and not need it.

Unholy Distractions
There’s a powerful weapon that’s been employed by the enemy to disconnect this generation and undermine the inheritance that is assigned to pass from generation to generation; that weapon is distraction. Remember when Elisha asked Elijah for a double portion of his spirit? Elijah responded to Elisha, “You have asked a hard thing. nevertheless, if you see me when I am taken from you, it shall be so for you; but if not, it shall not be so. ” ( 2 Kings

The chariot of fire was a distraction that separated the
Elijah generation from Elisha generation. Yet the condition for the double portion of his spirit was rooted in resisting the temptation to focus on the fire and thereby keep his eye on his father.
Eight years earlier in the cave of confusion, Elijah learned
that God wasn’t in the fire; the question is; did Elisha get the
message? Thankfully he did!
Now days, there are so many shiny things that separate the
generations; this has become the “Gen F” - the fake, fantasy, fatherless, fan page generation.
Kids, are being raised by their
machines, who know their video games better than they know their parents. The side effects of being raised by video parents is that you don’t know how to be a reality man.
Cyber distractions
have led to relational disconnections, which have undermined the double portion man-date, leaving boys ill-equipped for manhood.But the good news is ELIJAH IS COMING!
