You pulled it off, Steve! 🙌 What a weekend. Thanks for making room for a little Japan in Marfa 😁🥃 Now get some sleep! 😂
I’ve been to every Marfa Weekend and each was a unique experience, but this year was one for the books. Some closing thoughts... Every time we've opened a new space in Marfa, glitch in 2022, Otherside in 2024, and now One Fourteen in 2026, it feel frenetic in the days and weeks leading up to the event. Just one month ago, the projectors were stuck in customs, construction was behind schedule, and I was freaking out. But things have a way of working out around here and this year was no exception. We couldn't be happier with how it all turned out. I have so many people to thank that I can't possibly do it justice in an X post. Our construction crew that worked overtime to get it done, the artists who participated in our grayduck gallery pop-up, all the locals who helped these events run smoothly from the doormen to the bar backs, my fellow DJs, J Brew and Jala, and most of all my wife @gnomem. I remain deeply grateful to our sponsors @artblocks_io and @opensea, none of it would have happened without them. In particular, my main point of contact at each organization, Melissa and Adam, who spent months brainstorming with me about how to make it a success. I want to acknowledge the teams that held events in Otherside, @SakazukiNFT and @100collectors, both of which were a blast. And of course, the entire @glitchmarfa team, for another year of jaw dropping exhibitions featuring @ArtOnBlockchain, @mpkoz, and @summergwagner. Finally, I want to specifically shout out our exhibiting artists at One Fourteen: @IDerech, @dotjiwa, @alexkittoe, and @thankyoux, with support from the @museumartlight crew and @pandelic. These were the pioneering set of exhibitions that have ever been displayed on the new projectors and they will hold a special place in history. There was no playbook for how to use the space, and yet, they each came up with a de novo experience that I can only describe as incredible. Your exhibitions inspired us to dream what is possible in this new venue. Multiple people were brought to tears during the course of the weekend. This is why we do the work.

gn and bn 🌙 This is my Marfa appreciation post.🌵🤠 I took it somewhat slow today and spent the day decompressing after a wonderful trip to Marfa for the Art Blocks Summit. I'm sure I will miss mentioning a number of great people that I interacted with while I was in Marfa, so apologies beforehand it is not intentional. 🙏 First, kudos to the entire @artblocks_io team for another stellar event. photo by: aventurine.obscura.eth

It was great to see @NEORT in Marfa and the Quietus Machine exhibition in the @artblocks_io House was truly special, please come back. 🙏 Can't wait to see what you guys have in store for next year, but I can only imagine that it's bigger and better than what I witnessed this year. Kudos to you @NORIWTS and @toshiaki_takase, as well as @themassagejp for his excellent curation. Feeling privileged to witness your collaboration with @ArtOnBlockchain which is resulting in such a special East-West connection for generative art paired with physical devices.

I really love what @HighBallCharlie and his team are doing with the @SakazukiNFT project. After visiting the Adobe Room at Marfa and seeing the vision up close, I decided to join and minted my membership token! Hoping to get over to Japan at some point to really experience it first hand! 🙏🙏🙏

So glad we went together, Yosca! Art, friends, and tacos — what a trip 😁🌮 Let’s go back next year again! ❤️
This year, I attended “Marfa Weekend” for the first time. I had a wonderful time with the @artblocks_io community, saw lots of digital art and Donald Judd's work, and had a deep experience that I can't put into words. I was happy to see people I met in Palo Alto in January again, and to make new friends. Thank you to everyone who talked with me. I was also able to hand @tonyherrera the piece he commissioned in person. He taught me how to enjoy tacos, and I drew the moment I was moved by them. Thanks to @neort_io for helping make it happen. I hope to come back to Marfa again. I've really fallen in love with this place. Finally, I really appreciate @SakazukiNFT @HighballCharlie for bringing me along. Thank you!

The response to the exhibition was far greater than we had imagined. Each artist took NEORT’s machine platform, and the thinking behind it, as a starting point and found their own expression on top of it. @takenstheorem @satoshi_aizawa @rudxane1 One thing became clear. By adding the element of digital computation to a machine and building work upon it, the three artists let us explore the artwork and the system and let us imagined a digital death, and let their work leave their hands so that its form could be seen more concretely. People enter that system. Simply by stepping into the room, a visitor interacts with the machine; an image emerges as its output; and people look at it again. Three small worlds were built, each with its own loop of interaction. Experiencing them one by one, we could feel, with our own bodies in front of them, what it means to live in a digital society. Giving the work a physical body brought something new to the surface. Because we see the physical, we feel the digital more strongly; because we see the machine, we sense the human. And there is a world that holds even when no one is there. It is much like what Donald Judd found w hen he came to Marfa: a world of nature and matter that goes on existing, and shining, without human interference; and when people arrive, a conversation begins and a new way of feeling is added. Judd’s minimal, conceptual world and the deeply conceptual world of the digital have something in common. I felt that connection strongly, and this exhibition showed me once again how fascinating generative art can be. I think I felt why artblocks chose to be in Marfa. This is mind blowing. Thanks for all the great opportunity, we will be back! @ArtOnBlockchain @jeffgdavis @artblocks_io

Quietus Machine in Marfa blew me away. Loved the storytelling and how you could get hands-on with the digital work. So much more to take in when you actually interact with it. @NORIWTS and the @neort_io team —so happy to be working with you through SAKAZUKI! 🙏❤️
