Leo Vulcan 1 (LV-01) update:
Our first mission on @ulalaunch's Vulcan rocket is set for Friday, Nov. 13, pending range approval. All 40 Leo satellites—our largest payload to date—have been integrated with Vulcan inside Amazon's vertical integration facility (VIF-A) at the Cape, and teams are working through final processing ahead of launch from SLC-41.

The universe has a musical side. 🎶
Meet the Treble Clef, an unusual radio structure stretching more than 2 million light-years across space. Its shape is striking, but the science behind it is even more fascinating.
Studying structures like this can reveal how galaxy clusters interact and evolve. In this composite, radio emission appears in red, X-rays in blue, and infrared data in white: go.nasa.gov/3WCV89U

We’re 3 for 3 in orbit this October. This time, it’s space drugs. W-7 carries pharmaceutical hardware and a promising new type of cancer medicine known as a protein degrader. Microgravity will help overcome one of its biggest limitations: poor solubility.

#NASAWebb has pinpointed the host galaxy of the most distant fast radio burst ever seen. The galaxy proved surprisingly small and young, which provides a clue to the source of the burst: news.stsci.edu/4hEmZip 🔭

ALT A field full of small galaxies of all shapes against the blackness of space. A few bright white stars show 8 prominent diffraction spikes. A small galaxy at lower right is highlighted with a white box. A shaded triangle extends upward to the corners of a larger box showing a zoom in of the region. Two fuzzy, light blue blobs are at center of the box, with a larger and brighter one at top. Just above the top blob is a white crosshair showing the location where a fast radio burst was detected.

1000+ Leo satellites complete, with hundreds on standby for launch.
From two prototypes to a full-rate production line, every Leo satellite is designed, built, and tested at our factory in Kirkland, WA. Getting here meant standing up a satellite factory from scratch, compressing test cycles that traditionally take months into days, and learning from every piece of hardware we broke along the way.
