How to Force 20+ Turnovers a Game — The Pressure Defense Formula How did a high school coach’s defensive system help build a college basketball powerhouse? In this video, you’ll see how Nova Southeastern Men’s Basketball used the principles of Coach Mike Hilmer’s Relentless Pressure System — a high school system from Iowa — to dominate Division II basketball and win 2 of the last 3 national championships.@HilmerMike Relentless Pressure will not only revolutionize your defense. It will also level up your offense. Nova Southeastern has averaged 100 PPG over the past few seasons. Coach Hilmer’s North Linn teams went from averaging under 50 PPG to over 80 PPG after installing the system! Coach Hilmer’s system, originally designed for high school teams, has proven unstoppable at the college level. You’ll learn 7 core tactics Nova uses to force turnovers, wear opponents down, and turn defense into instant offense — including: -Blindside Traps -Backtaps -Second Traps -Run-and-Jump Pressure -Pressing Off Misses -Trapping the Clearout -Denying Inbounds with the “Green Press” These are the same principles that helped Coach Hilmer win 3 Iowa State Championships and transformed Nova into a relentless, chaos-creating defensive machine.
