Alaska was born at breeders and then sold off to people who would then go on to become her biggest nightmare 💔 At night a family came rushing to the vets and dropped an extremely injured dog. A 4 months old husky with her limb broken at multiple points. When inquired about how that happened, SILENCE. The X-rays indicated a beating, in vets experience she was beaten with a rod. After her surgery, her family never came back to pick her up. The contact number they left was FAKE. And Alaska was left on mercy of the vet. He decides if she lives or died. For more than 60 days Alaska was confined in a small cage. Her surgery failed. Her limb became infected. She was dying alone in a tiny cage. A kind person called us to share these details and begged us to save her. We reached out to the vets asap, cleared her bills and took her custody. We rushed her to our affiliated vets only to find out that her leg was completely rotten, it had to be amputated to save her life 💔 I knew this meant a lifelong disability, and maybe no one would ever want to adopt her. But I didn’t want Alaska to die. When we went to pick her up, she was in disbelief. She probably thought we had given up on her too. But when she saw us, there was a spark in her eyes. She wagged her tail to say hello and I reassured her that I will love her no matter what. It’s been almost 9 months now. Alaska is our most loved and spoiled girl. She has a basket full of toys, the comfiest spot on the sofa, lots of friends and her own little human who is truly obsessed with her. Transformations like these are not possible without your support. Every penny ensures an animal gets the safety, love and comfort they deserve. To support my work for animals, please donate and share ❤️‍🩹⬇️ gofund.me/5d3376f3b

I’m trying to put on a calm face, but I’m freaking out inside. 💔 For ten years straight, I have worked long hours to protect these babies from harm. I work in Pakistan, where dogs are brutally murdered in broad daylight by the authorities. I have saved countless lives over the years and now my cage-free, no-kill shelter is home to over 500 animals. But I have to vacate the shelter in just a few weeks. I had arranged a place previously, but it falls short — there is not enough space or roof area to accommodate all of them. Over the past few months alone, I have brought almost 200 dogs to the shelter. Dogs who were poisoned, shot, run over, abused and neglected. The streets are not safe. Leaving them back on the street after showing them love and kindness means leaving them to die. I cannot break their little hearts. I don’t want them to lose the sense of safety and love they finally felt at Strays Home. And I really need your support to make sure they never end up on the streets again. It’s been days that I have been posting again and again to reach our initial goal of £3k. If you are seeing this tweet, please chip in whatever you can and share it with kind people who you believe can help. 🙏🏻 I am requesting this on behalf of 523 babies who don’t want to go back to the cruel streets. Please be the angels they need right now ❤️‍🩹 gofund.me/e500ff871

Didn't received any funds today 😔💔 The deadline for vacating the shelter is only getting closer but 600£ is all we could raise so far. Kind people, the initial 3k£ is crucial for us to start kennels & fencing. Without kennels & fencing we can't move animals under the open sky with no enclosures. I'm so stressed out about my shelter animals every passing moment is adding to our stress. We are all these babies have so please don't give up on them now. For more thank 10 years I have been fighting for the rights of these babies to only face so many hardship while protecting them. I can really use some support from kind people for my babies right now. Please donate just a £10 and share this tweet with others to help 🥺⬇️ gofund.me/fe3a182d
I’M NOT READY TO GIVE UP ON MY SHELTER BABIES so I’m going to keep fighting but I can not win this fight alone and I need your help pray 🙏🏻 Sadly, the area where our shelter, the only home for all the animals in the region is located, is set to be demolished. While previously we had found a farm to move the dogs, now the number of dogs have almost doubled because the government started mass culling of dogs. As the only shelter in the capital, we had to step in to save mother dogs, puppies and friendly dogs who were being brutally poisoned and shot. Securing a safe place of them is important because so many of these dogs have health complications, disabilities & trauma because of being culling victims. If we leave these animals out, they won’t survive or will be killed. Adoption for strays dogs in Pakistan is too low. They have nowhere else to go. We have secured extra land, but it is just open ground. We have to build everything like fences, enclosures, kennels etc to accommodate all our animals and continue rescuing. Otherwise, they will be left on the streets to die a miserable death in a country that is a hot zone for severe animal abuse. With only a few weeks left to vacate, the pressure is immense. A kind friend has set up a fundraiser to help make this urgent move possible. In Phase 1, we are raising *£3k* for initial arrangements, though our total goal to build a decent, safe space to accommodate all these animals is much larger. I am requesting everyone who sees this to please chip in, even if a little and share this with friends and family who care about animals. Please don’t let them suffer on the streets. 🥺Every penny you donate helps ensure the safety of these vulnerable babies ❤️‍🩹 gofund.me/c251f9f01

🚨 STRAYS HOME SHELTER, A HOME TO HUNDREDS OF RESCUED ANIMALS IS PERMANENTLY CLOSING AT ITS CURRENT LOCATION ‼️ And lives of hundreds of our rescues are at risk if we are unable to set up a safe space for them in time as our extension to stay ends in November. Our shelter is the oldest and only all animal shelter operating in capital of Pakistan. This year we received an eviction notice and soon the area is going to be demolished. We previously rented a farm to move our animals to when we had around 380 animals. But then the government started mass culling of dogs and being the only shelter we had to step in to save mother dogs, puppies and friendly dogs who were being brutally poisoned, shot or were under constant threat. Our shelter strength has now crossed *523 animals*. If we leave these animals out, the government will kill them. The adoption rate in Pakistan is almost zero. They have nowhere else to go. We have secured extra land, but right now it is just open ground. We have to build everything from scratch to accommodate all our animals and to continue taking in new rescues. Otherwise, so many of them will be left on the streets to die a miserable death. As you know, Pakistan is a hot zone for severe animal abuse. With only one month left to vacate, there is immense pressure and tension. A kind friend has set up a fundraiser to help us make this urgent move possible. JUST A FEW WEEKS LEFT BEFORE WE HAVE TO VACATE THE SHELTER 💔 For our animals, losing the shelter means losing their lives. We have to make urgent arrangements to accommodate every single one of them. This year, our permanent residents increased from 380 to over 500 because of the brutal dog culling by the government. We tried to save them all. The pregnant dogs, the mother dogs, the tiny pups, the friendly street dogs. We picked them up when they were poisoned and shot. We rescued them, nursed them back to life, sterilized and vaccinated them. Many were left with permanent health issues and disabilities and they found their only safety with us. We need to fence the area, build enclosures, kennels, winter sheds and so much more. The list is endless, but the funds are coming in too slowly while our number of animals has increased to 523. I need your help to prevent these innocent souls from ending up back on the same streets where they will be killed. In the first phase, we are raising £3k to start construction. We only have a few weeks left to raise funds and build a safe space according to their needs. Your support will decide their fate. Please help us reach our £3k goal by the end of this week. 🙏🏻 gofund.me/9ff742afb

Rani is not the donkey she used to be and what we witnessed today left us in happy tears ❤️‍🩹 After years of unimaginable pain, abuse and suffering, Rani is finally in a place where she is loved and safe. She is no longer expected to carry heavy loads until her back breaks. She is no longer forced to stand for hours in scorching heat and rain. She is no longer made to walk miles without food or water. All we ask of her now is to heal and to live a life knowing love and freedom. And today, we saw a glimpse of that. Rani pranced around the donkey area with the energy of a little puppy, jumping, running, playing in the mud. For the first time in her life, she felt truly free. And this was only possible because of your support ❤️‍🩹 Our NGO relies entirely on kind people like you to save precious lives like Rani's. Please donate and share with your friends if you can ⬇️ gofund.me/6b49d675c
Rani was born into a life she didn't choose, a life where she would only be used as a labour animal and endure unimaginable abuse. A kind woman passing by saw her and was devastated. She called us and shared a video that broke our hearts. Rani had horrible, infected injuries full of maggots. She was barely alive and just moments away from life-threatening sepsis. When we reached to rescue her, her owner — who had discarded her like she was nothing — suddenly appeared. The same animal they had abandoned was now their "prized possession." They demanded money for her freedom. We paid it immediately. Without a second thought. Because Rani's life mattered more than anything. As soon as we had her, we arranged transport and moved her to the shelter, where vets cleaned her wounds and started her treatment right away. Soon we learned she would need urgent surgery to remove her ear because the tissue was so badly damaged that it could have caused fatal complications. With help from kind people like you, Rani had her surgery. And today, I am sharing a video of Rani that will melt your heart. She gave the impression that she felt truly free for the first time in her life. Running around, grazing peacefully, so grateful. Rescues like Rani's are only possible with your support 🙏🏻 Even a £5 contribution can change a life. Please donate if you can, and share with your family and friends to support our work ❤️‍🩹⬇️ gofund.me/114bad344

Poor Buffy was run over and left to suffer on the streets of Mansehra, until @tws_pk2 stepped in and arranged urgent transportation to our shelter. He arrived severely dehydrated, anaemic and malnourished. After a few days at the vet, he started to seem a little better. Today, we received a hopeful call from the vets, Buffy is showing some movement in his back legs. There is a chance he could regain strength with the help of physiotherapy. So tomorrow, Buffy starts his physio sessions with Dr. Haider. After a week of therapy, we will assess his progress and decide on continuing his treatment. His therapy and boarding for the entire week will cost just £90. To all the kind people following our work, even £5 or a simple share can ensure Buffy gets the therapy that could change his life ❤️‍🩹 gofund.me/dfc1479ca
This paralysed dog needs to be rescued off the street but sadly our shelter is completely full. @HomeStrays have kindly agreed to take it but we are arranging the transport. We just need £90 to cover this cost. Please help this poor dog. PayPal: paypal.me/twsociety

Pakistani government employees are not feeding dogs snacks, it's POISON as usual. These photos are from an official #Pakistan 🇵🇰 government page, posted recently as 'proof' of how many dogs they are poisoning. Pakistan is poisoning all the dogs or ab*sing them to deth or locking them up with no water for days until they all di€. #BoycottPakistan products if you have empathy for these innocent loving dogs suffering the terrible pain of poison. Support local rescues there saving dogs from being poisoned. I share good ones. @HomeStrays @tawf_uk .... There are more that I forget the @s for, but will share when I see them. They are overwhelmed rescuing dogs in #Pakistan. The household name international organizations are not helping.
Dog in #Pakistan 🇵🇰 is calling out for help, but the poison is too terrible. The world loves dogs, but not them. You do and I do but don't you wish our government said one word against this during #PeaceTalks? @jdvance ? @realDonaldTrump @LaraLeaTrump ? Or #TheNews? We just give #Pakistan money and this is what they do. Across all four provinces—Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa—it’s no longer just government authorities mass-poisoning stray dogs. Now, ordinary citizens have actively joined this bloodbath, torturing and killing innocent animals because they know there are zero consequences.

Since past few months, I'm struggling extra hard to save lives. Donations are extremely low but that couldn't stop me from saving animals who were tortured, abused & neglected by humans because I run the only shelter in this region. You won't believe me as I say this, but first two things I learned when I decided to help animals in Pakistan were: 1. Government shoots & poisons stray dogs actively as a way of population control & there's no acceptance for TNVR 2. The fine for brutally abusing an animal is £0.5 (Yes you read it right) These two things have given people a free pass to abuse animal, be it the general public, be it the govt workers, be it the breeders. So how do we protect animals under such circumstances? How do we stop someone from setting them on fire, from running over them, from breeding the animals till they are terribly sick & then dumping them on garbage sites. It all comes down to how many can we save which depends on your support. Even a £5 helps when it's a matter of life & death. Please support my rescue work & shelter operations as so many animals depend on me ❤️‍🩹 gofund.me/62f7cc016

Ana has fought a life threatening tumour & is now ready to go to her foster but we are still £42 short to send her to the foster home. Her chemo sessions are almost complete but it's observation period where for her where she needs a lot of care, timely medication & vet visits. Foster only has slot for one dog right now & we can't let this chance slip because Anna really needs to be at foster to heal. Even a £5 would really mean a lot rn. Please chip in & share this with other kind people to make it possible for Anna to recover in a cozy foster home ❤️‍🩹⬇️ gofund.me/34fd9bcf1
Ana was rescued by us after breeders abandoned her in a remote location with a huge tumour. Her puppies were taken away from her, she was still lactating & left paralysed because of the huge tumour that made walking impossible for her. She dragged herself in search of food & water in a remote location, with a small box that was her whole world. Luckily a kind family while passing by, spotted her & then we received a call. We rushed to get Ana as it was already dark & weather was bad, we didn't know if she would be able to survive the night. Once we reached vets & could clearly see her state we were devastated. Her fur was in poor condition, she had horrible sores under her limbs & a huge TVT was hanging from her body. She was still lactating, they used her for pups again & again & again till her body gave up & then she was just dumped like trash 💔 Ana received 3 chemo sessions & once she regains strength she'll be having a surgery. Rn our focus is a loving foster home which is costing £100 for the month, which not only include a safe space, daily walks & nice warm meals but also commute to vet clinic for checkup & bloodwork. Please if you could spare just £10 to help & share this for sweet Ana 🙏🏻❤️‍🩹 gofund.me/1f76a3989

I'm sorry as the video I'm sharing is graphic but I had to share it because I'm desperate. This poor girl was seen by a kind lady while passing by. When she stopped to check on the poor donkey, her owners came running & asked her to mind her own business. Sadly police in Pk is no help in such cases so, she reached out to us & informed us about the situation. After seeing the poor donkey in such horrible condition we decided to buy her off & move her to the shelter for treatment. It costed £80 to free Rani from her abuser. But now I really need your help to arrange her transportation to Islamabad & start her treatmemt as her condition is really poor. While it's month's end & things are very difficult at the shelter already, I didn't want to let this poor girlll die so miserably. Now I'm requesting your help to arrange urgent transportation for her & to get her emergency veterinary help. £100 is all needed to cover both transport & lifesaving treatment for Rani. Your £5 can decide her date, please chip in & share with friends for Rani ❤️‍🩹⬇️ gofund.me/685b6e002
