as someone who has expierenced significant trauma, please know that your expierences and your voice is valid. your opinions on how trauma is represented or seen is valid. and most of all, know that you are not defined by your trauma. you survived it. and you are far more than it.
I took the time to read this until I reached a certain point of the review. It's better I stop reading this because otherwise I'll be vulgar
It is so insulting to the Remedy staff but more importantly to people who suffered from abuse in their childhood or their lives in general
Control 1 was subtle because we were discorvering a new universe, learning the truth about our world and Jesse's story
AW1-2 are cryptic because things are out of our reach and still obscure
Meanwhile in Control 2 we already know all those things, being subtle again won't fit

Whether you enjoy or not is your own feelings, but as amazing as Sam Lake is, there are also many other people at Remedy who've put their hearts + talents into the games and it doesnt seem fair to insult them, online presence or not

I keep seeing this and I just wanna say:
1. Not liking certain aspects of a game doesn't automatically mean it's badly written
2. There are entire teams creating these titles and it's extremely disrespectful towards all of them to act like only Sam Lake can write good games

i mean hell, Jesse is unfathomably strong and competent as a female queer protagonist with explicit childhood trauma that’s already so much more than I’ve ever seen in a video game
