The friend mentioned in this article that I got into fighting games with in middle school is @2GBCombo.
As of yesterday it has been exactly 20 YEARS since me and him went to our first Super Smash Bros Melee tournament together at NCT2. 👴

Finding some more oldies from @FolsomFoundry.
We're all capped, but honestly just come for the vibes. ~

Warms my heart to see these numbers for the very last Foundry tournament ever.
So much history, memories, and more! Can't believe we're closing it all out next week. 🥲

was very happy to go to the wedding of @ViciousVish and his wife Meagan, amazing people in every regard
Smasher weddings always feel like high school reunions, amazing to think it’s been 20 years of this

It’s simple:
High Critic + High Audience = crowd pleaser / franchise tentpole
Low Critic + High Audience = a movie for children, beloved by adults
Low Critic + Low Audience = real sicko shit
High Critic + Low Audience = the good stuff

After my grandparents passed, I was told our family home was going to be sold
It was devastating, but I buried myself in work to try to make things work
With the help of @HugS86 (now a mortgage loan officer), I’m happy to say Im OFFICALLY A HOME OWNER AND the family home stays!

We've added to our reporting on the shooting of Alex Pretti. This video looks in further detail at bystander video footage - and analyses the Trump administration's description of the events that day. It's produced with my colleagues at BBC Verify. bbc.co.uk/news/world/us_and_…

A statement from the family of Alex Pretti, obtained by CNN:
"We are heartbroken but also very angry.
Alex was a kindhearted soul who cared deeply for his family and friends and also the American veterans whom he cared for as an ICU nurse at the Minneapolis VA hospital. Alex wanted to make a difference in this world. Unfortunately he will not be with us to see his impact. I do not throw around the hero term lightly. However his last thought and act was to protect a woman.
The sickening lies told about our son by the administration are reprehensible and disgusting. Alex is clearly not holding a gun when attacked by Trump’s murdering and cowardly ICE thugs. He has his phone in his right hand and his empty left hand is raised above his head while trying to protect the woman ICE just pushed down all while being pepper sprayed.
Please get the truth out about our son. He was a good man. Thank you."

Stephen Colbert on the ICE murder of Renee Good: “The message from this administration is clear. Only they determine the truth. And when their forces come to your city, obey or die. And if you die, you clearly didn’t obey. This should be an alarm bell for the entire country.”
