My novel *Rabbits* is out today in paperback. I feel you should definitely buy it. Here are some of the lovely things readers have said about it over the last few months.

Such a pleasure being interviewed by @hugorifkind on @TimesRadio. Proper questions designed to cast light on a difficult topic - terrorism. A million miles from the juvenile gotcha style of the Today programme on Radio 4.

With Andy Burnham referring to ‘quasi-judicial’ processes to grant new oil and gas licences, Hugo Rifkind (unsuccessfully) attempts to discover the meaning behind Westminster’s latest word salad. “Explain it to me!” “I can’t” @hugorifkind

Elon Musk’s Doge promised $2 trillion in savings. In reality it’s saved “zero” says Michael Lewis, author of The Big Short and Blockers: Rebels in the Deep State. “The mess on the other side cost more than the benefits from the cuts.”

It's not rocket science to figure out why paedos gravitated to the BBC. Prestigious employer, gave them power, particularly gave them access to youth culture. So to do Jenrick's parallel properly, I'd love to know why he thinks this lot were attracted to Reform UK?
🚨NEW: Robert Jenrick speaking to the BBC on Radio 4: "Can you now give a guarantee to your listeners this morning that no BBC presenter in the future will be exposed as a paedophile as a number have been in the recent past?"

“[They] pummel my midsection with their fists. Hood back off, they repeat the question, ‘who do you work for?’ That’s when the immense fear overtakes me.” Evan Gershkovich, the Wall Street Journal reporter who was wrongly imprisoned by Russia for 16 months under false espionage charges, tells Hugo Rifkind about the moment he was captured by the FSB. @hugorifkind

Looking forward to discussing my book with @hugorifkind on @TimesRadio tomorrow morning at 10:45am…
Special offer on Amazon right now. I know lots of us prefer to buy from independent book stores, but for those who want a bargain... Link in bio.

Yes, this was quite a common view for Jews before the war (both sets of my grandparents held roughly this view) , alongside the Jewish socialist view that only socialism would bring real delivery. After the war the Montagu position had much less support. Those of my grandparents who survived shifted to pragmatic support of Israel’s existence. Which is also my position, remaining aware of the power of the Montagu type position.

I'd absolutely love to give @ZackPolanski airtime. Alas, he's never yet agreed to come on. But I'm also not sure he'd want to "explain it from the Green perspective" given he didn't want to vote for it.
That’s your view Hugo but did you give Zac Polanski air time to explain it from the Greens perspective? Thought not….

The Greens have told “any observant Jews in the world, let alone just in Britain, that they are a racist”, says Times Radio presenter @HugoRifkind. “That means if you believe in a two-state solution, you’re racist.”

This would include literally every observant Jew I have ever met.
Amendment 3 on Jewish safety, clarifying that members will not be targeted for attending Zionist synagogues, has fallen 648 to 1026. Not even close - some Jewish greens expected to leave the party now

This is a poor take that suggests he doesn't know much about Russia in the 1990s, including Russia-US or wider Russia-West relations in the 1990s. By giving only one part of the story, he is repeating the Russian political elite's line that it was all the West's fault. Long🧵

Guys, when you're say "but our relationship with crypto billionaires is only the same as Labour's with trade unions!" then you're actually completely agreeing with me. See?
Like Ukip and like Brexit, Reform is fundamentally a scheme hatched and backed by very rich men who are peeved that they don't run the country. Surely even their own voters have to grasp this eventually.
