Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) and trade[XYZ] have announced their plan to use Hyperliquid as the infrastructure layer to deploy perpetual futures markets for US traders across crypto, equities, commodities, foreign exchange, and other real-world assets, subject to regulatory approvals. ICE operates NYSE and some of the largest exchanges and clearing houses globally.
In this structure:
+ Hyperliquid serves as the underlying technology infrastructure via HIP-3*
+ trade[XYZ] designs and implements the markets
+ ICE operates the regulated market and clearing structure
Existing trade[XYZ] HIP-3 markets will remain unchanged.
Hyperliquid is a neutral infrastructure layer with the goal of supporting large parts of the financial system. As with HIP-3, HIP-3* deployers are independent operators who use Hyperliquid as the onchain infrastructure layer for their own markets, while retaining control and responsibility over their deployment.
trade[XYZ] and ICE, owner of the New York Stock Exchange, are joining forces to bring 24/7 perpetual futures on Hyperliquid to the United States.
In just over a year, our markets on Hyperliquid have surpassed $650 billion in volume. They provide continuous price discovery for stocks, indices, and commodities, and have become trusted reference points for retail and institutions alike when traditional markets are closed. Much of the world trades them. Until now, Americans could only watch.
We intend to change that. Subject to CFTC approval, trade[XYZ] and ICE plan to establish a new, dedicated U.S. market, with novel exchange and clearing infrastructure built on Hyperliquid. Planned contracts span equities, indices, commodities, FX, and crypto, with access through participating brokers and platforms. We’ll share more on products, eligibility, and timing as approvals progress.
ICE brings more than 25 years of experience operating regulated markets, clearing, and managing risk. trade[XYZ] brings the product development, market design, and technology behind the most liquid and robust markets on Hyperliquid.
Innovation and the protections of U.S. regulation shouldn’t be a trade-off. Together, we plan to prove it.
ICE is making a strategic investment in trade[XYZ] and joins us in building towards the future of Hyperliquid. A small group of market luminaries is joining as well, beginning with Stan Druckenmiller. For more than four decades, few investors have anticipated the great turns in markets as often as Stan. We’re proud to have him with us for the next one.
We’re building the U.S. market in parallel with our existing HIP-3 markets, which we’ll continue to expand and innovate on. We expect both to flourish. They each have a long road map ahead, from new asset classes to new ways to trade them.
To the Hyperliquid community, whether you were here before us or came because of us, thank you. You took a chance on new markets and you made them matter. You’ll forever be a part of this story.

just wanna say thank you. HypurrCo Gathers Singapore Token2049 (@hypurr_co) was something else.
6+ months of planning with @kirbyongeo , @0xVelocity88 and one vision: make it grander than before, and connect builders, institutions and funds. that's why we built HypurrCo.
for some insights:
• the venue had to be booked 5+ months out
• merch designs and ideas started in March, with lots of back and forth and prototyping, before landing just in time last week
• Maxime iterated through hundreds of designs
• multiple site visits and last-minute changes, all for that WOW factor
our first one in 2024 was 50 of us in a simple, chill restaurant.
the second one had 300+.
today, almost 500 of you showed up.
still can't really process that. so many new faces, and people we'd only known online finally IRL. glad we got to connect.
thank you to everyone who came through, sat through three panels (and Jeff!), ripped packs, traded cards and took on the claw machines.

When we started planning this months ago, @hypurr_co agreed this has to be our BIGGEST and BEST, being Singaporeans and having it as our homeground.
Our first event in this “Hypurrco Gathers” series was just exactly a year ago - at token2049 2024.
Back then, it was a simple 40 pax brunch with @fiege_max hyperactive cap, @0xWasa vegas, @Theo_Network sponsoring.
Our first iconic tees were made then, with also a focus on quality.
Now? We accepted 400 people, 350 easily showed if not more through the 4 hour event.
10x.
Over 12 events have been ran or cohosted by us worldwide in the last year. From SG, NYC, Dubai, Cannes, HK, KR and much more.
How we’ve grown from a little 500+ follow account being banned to this.

There have been many projects that came into this industry with huge expectations, proudly calling themselves “community first.”
And yet, in just a year, so many of them have been swept away.
It’s funny how things turned out.
There was one project that many people realistically didn’t expect much from, simply because it had taken no VC funding.
But over time, that narrative completely flipped.
“No VC funding” stopped being seen as a weakness. Instead, people began to realize that maybe it was exactly what allowed the project to truly put its community first.
The projects that only talked about being community first were swept away.
Hyperliquid, which actually showed what community first looks like, is still here.
When only a small group of people were talking about Hyperliquid, it was community first.
When Hyperliquid started to gain real traction, it was still community first.
When almost anyone would name Hyperliquid as one of the greatest success stories in crypto in recent years, it is still community first.
Hyperliquid is building not just an accumulation of value, but an accumulation of trust.
When I met the local community leads this time, I personally asked each of them what motivated them to represent their region and run a Hyperliquid community.
Their answers were all surprisingly similar.
No one needed to push them.
They were already self-motivated.
They simply wanted more people in their own countries to discover a product they genuinely believed was great.
Hyperliquid thinks about what it can do for the community.
The community thinks about what it can do for Hyperliquid.
That’s why I love Hyperliquid.
And that’s why I love us.
