AI isn’t flattening qualitative research because it’s bad at synthesis. It’s flattening it because we’re giving it transcripts without the context researchers know matters.

This has been my favorite episode so far. Kathleen, you beautifully articulated so many concepts, especially designing for wants vs needs in healthcare, since HCPs are more likely to tell you what they need rather than what would bring them joy. I loved it!!
