Our account was recently compromised, and an unauthorized post was made regarding our stance on data centers. That message does not reflect the views of IBEW Local Union 520.

All these people do is lie.
The data center is building its own power sources. And it’s going to reuse its own water.
This is just ignorance coming from people who hate technology and hate markets.
They have Stone Age mindsets, and don’t understand how anything works.

Unions mean more than just good jobs — they mean safety for workers and the community.
As @TxBldgTrades Executive Director Ryan Pollock said, union workers are trained to spot safety issues and are empowered to speak up without fear.

Each year thousands of Texas voters rely on the Voter Assistance Hotline as they navigate the voting process.
Volunteers will field Hotline calls from 9AM CT – 6PM CT w/expanded hours as we move closer to Election Day.

Huge news: The NLRB today ruled that Starbucks illegally closed all three stores in Ithaca.
The agency ordered that those stores be re-opened, with the unionized staff re-hired and given 16 months of backpay.
This is why Starbucks is suing to destroy the NLRB.

. @KamalaHarris worked closely with @JoeBiden in bringing good manufacturing jobs back from overseas, and she'll continue to help create good, union jobs. That's why the #IBEW supports VP Harris, because America needs to keep moving forward. #Debate2024
Congressman Casar never ceases to remind the IBEW that he will always go above and beyond in his efforts to fight for workers. IBEW Local 520 is proud to say that we have supported his career from the very beginning and that we proudly do all we can for anyone like him!
TODAY: @SenSherrodBrown & I are introducing the American Energy Worker Opportunity Act!
Our bill invests in fossil fuel workers so they can use their skills in the clean energy economy — without losing the wages & benefits they earned. We can protect our planet AND our workers!
The Biden/Harris Administration took steps today to enshrine project labor agreements and strong prevailing wage protections on federally funded projects for years to come. @JoeBiden and @KamalaHarris are standing with union construction workers!
