The Independent Brigg Line Rail Group (Est 2012)

IBLRG is made up of volunteers from a transport background, most of which don't actually live on the Brigg line. Our job is to increase footfall to demonstrate a case for a better rail service for Brigg and Kirton-in-Lindsey. We are not associated with, or support NNLCRP.

Due to planned retarmacing works on Station Road, there will be no vehicle access to or from @northernassist Brigg railway station tomorrow (2nd November) Customers are advised to park on nearby local streets, footpath access to and from the station is still available.

Sarcasm is never far away on the Brigg Line. 🤭 This new poster at Brigg station says a number of organisations are ready for autumn. Problem is the @networkrail railhead treatment train doesn't do between Gainsborough Central and Wrawby Junction anymore, leading to delays.

Today a group of us travelled on the Brigg Line to Cleethorpes for fish and chips in honour of former railwayman and @northernassist guard Keith Godley, who sadly died in May, and today would have been his birthday. Keith supported the Brigg Line and loved his fish and chips.
