Thank you to the Investment Company Institute for hosting Congressman Liccardo and me for a bipartisan conversation on the SAFER Act and the need to protect Americans’ hard-earned retirement savings.
Americans who work, save, and invest for the future deserve certainty that their retirement assets will remain theirs. The SAFER Act protects those savings and ensures they cannot be seized or liquidated without confirmation of death. Retirement savings should be protected, not treated as a source of government revenue.
