Agree. I tend to minimally reduce IS. Also cultures in SOT crypto seem to stay positive for longer then the HIV crypto I have seen. #IDJClub

Let's discuss My impression: This is the largest RCT on CM to date and it was very well done. It definitively answers the Question for which it was designed (Rx of CM in PWH in Africa) Do you agree? #IDJClub

Secondary endpoints 3/3 Significantly *fewer* Grade 3 / 4 AEs in the intervention arm (50% vs 62.3%, P<0.001) This was largely driven by anemia in the SOC arm (Is this an adverse effect that is commonly observed in North American patients receiving AMB x 14d? 🤔) #IDJClub
