Network got attacked by an AI swarm yesterday night. They did not succeed in whatever their goals was because the network is bulletproof.
Nice try Agent Smith.
P.S.: We will find you.
🚨 Last night, the Internet Computer network withstood a widespread, AI-enabled attack, which involved hundreds of canisters using malformed Wasm modules.
In advance of ICP cloud engines, Open SaaS, Intelligence Gateway, and MULTI/DEX, we are seeing a rising tide of attacks.
As many ICP community members have pointed out, a legion of trolling and FUD accounts have now appeared on social media, often repeating exactly the same poisonous messages, over and over, en masse.
The posts of the trolls trace back to agency paymasters, who themselves have received money from somebody. Obviously, whoever is funding this has no place in the tech industry, but sadly some people in the crypto industry see themselves as belonging to something else.
The well-funded organizations behind these attacks are not interested in making the world a better place by developing game-changing technology. They are only interested in extracting easy money through snakeoil narratives and scams that our industry still has not gathered the strength to end — they are vampires that prey on the ignorance of token buyers, and they attack anything that might disrupt the status quo by showing people the light of real technology.
These tell themselves they are just crypto bros playing the crypto game.
However, paying for, or organizing, attacks on public infrastructure, even at arms length, is a serious criminal act, which also reflects who they really are.
We want to know who is behind these attacks, and ask for help. DFINITY will offer rewards to those who can help us unmask the criminals, and bring them to justice. These guys need to be doxxed.
Thank you for your attention in this, and thank you to the ICP community that stands with the network 💪

🚨🚨 $ICP: A BILLION-DOLLAR SWISS BANK WITH ~$6 BILLION IN CLIENT ASSETS IS RUNNING CLOUD ENGINES 🏦🇨🇭☁️⚡
THIS deserves far more attention.
Sygnum Bank — a regulated Swiss digital-asset bank — appears directly on the Internet Computer dashboard as both a MAINNET NODE PROVIDER and CLOUD ENGINE PROVIDER.
And the institution behind those machines is substantial.
🏦 Valuation above $1 BILLION
💰 Approximately $6 BILLION in client assets / Assets under Administration
🌍 2,300+ clients across 80+ countries
🇨🇭 Swiss banking licence
🇪🇺 MiCAR licence in Liechtenstein
🇸🇬 Regulated operations in Singapore
🌍 Additional regulatory presence in Abu Dhabi and Luxembourg
Now look at Sygnum’s ICP infrastructure:
🖥️ 37 MAINNET NODES
🌐 Active across 9 MAINNET SUBNETS
➕ 27 additional Mainnet nodes unassigned
📍 Zurich infrastructure
☁️ 5 CLOUD ENGINE NODES
⚙️ 3 CLOUD ENGINES
➕ 2 Cloud Engine nodes unassigned
🌍 2 Cloud Engine locations
STOP AND THINK ABOUT THAT.
A regulated BANK managing billions of dollars of client assets is already operating ICP CLOUD ENGINE INFRASTRUCTURE.
That materially elevates the Cloud Engines story.
Banks operate in environments where:
🔐 Security matters
🛡️ Resilience matters
📜 Regulation matters
🏦 Custody matters
🌍 Jurisdiction matters
🔎 Auditability matters
⚙️ Business continuity matters
This is exactly the territory Cloud Engines are moving ICP toward.
The conversation is no longer simply:
“Which blockchain wins?”
It becomes:
“WHO PROVIDES THE TRUSTED COMPUTE INFRASTRUCTURE?”
That is a far bigger market.
Banks.
Governments.
Defence.
Healthcare.
Critical infrastructure.
AI.
Enterprise applications.
Sovereign digital infrastructure.
These organisations don’t need another speculative L1.
They need COMPUTE.
They need SECURITY.
They need RESILIENCE.
They need CONTROL.
And increasingly, they need alternatives to concentrating everything inside a handful of hyperscale cloud providers.
That is where the Internet Computer thesis becomes extraordinary.
ICP isn’t simply trying to move finance onto a blockchain.
Internet Computer technology is attacking the CLOUD COMPUTING STACK ITSELF.
And now a regulated Swiss bank with approximately $6 BILLION in client assets is visibly operating:
MAINNET INFRASTRUCTURE.
AND
CLOUD ENGINE INFRASTRUCTURE.
That doesn’t prove every bank is about to adopt ICP.
But it does prove something important:
🏦 BANK-GRADE INSTITUTIONS CAN PARTICIPATE DIRECTLY IN THIS INFRASTRUCTURE MODEL.
37 Mainnet nodes.
5 Cloud Engine nodes.
3 Cloud Engines.
A $1B+ banking group.
~$6B in client assets.
And Internet Computer technology underneath the infrastructure.
Most of crypto is still fighting over which chain moves tokens fastest.
$ICP is quietly positioning itself for something much larger:
THE COMPUTE LAYER FOR A WORLD THAT INCREASINGLY DEMANDS DIGITAL SOVEREIGNTY.
🐘 THE ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM IS ALREADY RUNNING INFRASTRUCTURE INSIDE THE BANKING SECTOR.
WAKE UP.
$ICP 🌐☁️🏦⚡

Caffeine is now on AWS Marketplace.
Enterprise teams need tools. And no one understands those tools better than the teams who need them. Caffeine lets them build it themselves, just by describing what they need.

AWS launches its "European Sovereign Cloud" but experts call it "sovereignty washing" 🤔
The US CLOUD Act means European data can still be accessed by US authorities - regardless of where servers are located.
True digital sovereignty requires infrastructure that's not controlled by any single nation or corporation. That's why we built the Internet Computer - a blockchain-based cloud where no single entity controls your data.
Sovereignty isn't just about server location. It's about who holds the keys 🔑
Stay tuned for an announcement at World Computer Day 2026 in Davos! ♾️

Why $ICP's native $BTC integration could take it to tens of billions
Over $1 trillion in Bitcoin is:
- sitting completely idle
- it can't earn yield
- it can't be used as collateral without giving it to a custodian
And every solution built so far has either been centralized, hacked, or both
$ICP solved this problem in 2023
So Internet Computer is faster than Solana...!?
According to @chainspect_app's real-time TPS chart, @dfinity's Internet Computer recorded an average tx/s of 2,554 over the past week.
This is more than double @Solana's tx/s of 1,153 in the same period.
Is the industry sleeping on $ICP or are these just vanity metrics...?

WordPress now runs on the Internet Computer.
That's thanks to the @WaspTechnology team.
This includes:
- Frontend and WP-admin
- No external database
- No off-chain cache
- No proxy or TEE VPS.
Just canisters.

WooCommerce is now running on WordPress inside WASP on ICP
This is a huge milestone.

We are not just running a static site.
We are not just running a basic WordPress page.
We are now running real plugin-heavy PHP workload inside ICP canisters.
No VPS.
No traditional hoster.
PHP + WordPress + WASQL + WooCommerce on ICP.
Load times are improving progressively, and we are getting closer to something big:
A decentralized hosting layer for the existing PHP and WordPress world.
WASP is building the bridge from Web2 to Web3.

European cloud providers hold 15% of Europe's own cloud market.
That number has barely moved in three years.
AWS, Microsoft, and Google collectively hold 70%.
That's European citizens' data. Governed by European regulation. But owned, operated, and legally obligated to US jurisdiction.
The EU has GDPR. It has NIS2. It has the EU Data Act. It has the political will and the regulatory firepower.
What it doesn't have is infrastructure where sovereignty is the default. Enforced at the architecture level, not the contract level.
That's why the numbers don't move. You can regulate a market without changing what the underlying technology is structurally capable of doing.
Three years. Same number. Worth asking why.

Internet Computer "cloud engines" will run over AWS data centers i.e. ICP will provide a way to create full stack apps on AWS that keep running when individual DCs have issues.
AWS has been very helpful, and provided technical hooks needed by ICP node software. Coming soon.
