Counterfeit, substandard or mislabeled products threaten every sector. Far beyond copyright violations, they undermine legitimate businesses, weaken local economies, damage the environment and put lives at risk.
At this week’s 19th International Law Enforcement IP Crime Conference, more than 450 delegates from 52 countries and 255 organizations are sharing expertise across panels and workshops focused on protecting the public and disrupting the transnational organized crime groups behind this illicit trade.

Authorities across 90 countries and territories have disrupted the illegal trade in counterfeit and unapproved medicines.
🔵 269 arrests
🔵 392 investigations
🔵 66 criminal groups dismantled
🔵 $15.5M in illicit products seized
The most commonly seized items included erectile dysfunction drugs, sedatives, analgesics, antibiotics and anti-smoking products.
