If @cardiffcouncil doesn’t create a small road leading to the new #Cardiff bus station called Cheers Drive it’ll have really missed a trick.

When I saw this house in Cardiff, I had to stop and take a picture! The love, passion, creativity and effort that have gone into these Halloween decorations are absolutely amazing. Well done, guys! Fantastic effort! 🎃👏
Had lunch in the Norwegian Church today. Welsh rarebit for the adults and – for just £1 per child – hot dog and fries. Dog friendly too. Ryddig*!
*Norwegian for tidy. 🇳🇴🏴
I see a new smash burger joint is joining Whitchurch Road’s forgettable fast food offering. Looks like it’s replacing the Vanilla Lounge, which may or may not have won a Wales Online award in the category of blandest named eateries.
Sink or Swim at Howell’s School is closed at half-term despite the website FAQ saying classes remain on. Annoying.
The Taff could take years to recover from GE Aerospace’s accidental leak of kerosene into the river last week, according to a former hazardous waste specialist for @SWFireandRescue.

Is it a “pretty poor indicator of standards”, or is it a pretty good indication as to the RAF’s poor standards, and also that of poor journalism at The Sun? (You’re allowed to adjust a direct quote - especially from a made up source - to make it make sense as it was intended.)
Has there been oil released into the Taff in Cardiff, around Llandaff North? People saying it can be seen and smelt.
You know you can’t U-turn on a motorway, @WelshLabour.

Enjoyed the mad-capped, funny and poignant whistle-stop tour of 2,000 years of Cardiff history that is Balloon Girl @ShermanTheatre last night. (On till 24 Oct.)
Michael Sheen was there, munching popcorn and laughing. …My daughter asked him if he won #TheCelebrityTraitors 😬

Swn is this weekend in Cardiff (starts tomorrow). The city’s autumnal indie music fest started way back in 2007. Remembering its early years across many unusual venues (arts college on Newport Road; Reardon Smith theatre) brings back happy memories of going with @sarahlethbridge.
Scrap metal collection vans should not have their weird PA messages blasting before 9am on a Sunday….in my area when I was out late drinking. Anything to be done about it? (Apart from change my lifestyle.)
We need to get tough, people. Individuals who watch stuff on their phones in public with the sound up loud should have their Welsh citizenship revoked.
Insult to injury: it’s useful to know that you can’t park in the big Tesco (Gabalfa) car park on a Sunday evening for longer than 15mins (even if you’ve been assaulted by little tykes). Horizon Parking will fine you.
“Jolene” released in Cymraeg by Dolly’s niece Jada, @BBCRadioWales’ Bronwen Lewis and featuring the legend herself. Quite amazing really.
