You all have roots all over the world.” That’s how Gemma Dobbs (@gwd2000), Ecosystem Program Lead at SDF, answered when our @VN_Stellar Chapter Lead @Tiffany_herefen asked where builders should start on @StellarOrg. Her answer: get to know your local @riseinweb3 chapter, learn the tech stack, and find an unsolved problem in your market. At #HackMeridian2026 in Lisbon, Gemma also shared what the Stellar Community Fund has achieved this year: → 7 rounds of the Build Award program in 2026 → Almost 200 projects awarded → 137 teams live on mainnet And what makes a team stand out: knowing exactly what problem you’re solving, why you’re the right people to solve it, and why your solution is the best. That’s the path we help builders walk: from their first hackathon, to shipping a real product, to being ready for SCF. “We’re so lucky to have you all leading this program and supporting these builders,” Gemma said. When Justin Rice (@jricetweets), VP of Ecosystem at SDF (@StellarOrg) described how builders go from first commit to a funded, launched project on Stellar, he started with Rise In. He called it “a whole ladder of programs.” Builders learn and ship their first project with @riseinweb3, build through hackathons and ambassador Instawards, and grow into the Stellar Community Fund, which lets founders launch. We take that first step seriously. We get builders from zero to their first real project, then connect them to the funding, support, and mentorship that come next.
