The WASP mourns the loss of one of the World's greatest climate adaptation science champions, Prof. Saleemul Huq, co-founder of the WASP. He passed away in Dhaka on 29 October, 2023.
Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and the ICCCAD Community. He will be dearly missed.
Next @IPAM_Metrics member organization webinar will present an Overview and Compliance Audit of #urban #ClimateAction plans adopted or published post-IPCC AR5, by the CEPEAS of Hiroshima University.
Join us on October 5 at 11 am UTC. zoom.us/j/96511439621
ALT There is limited knowledge about the global situation of the content and structure of urban climate action plans (CAPs) adopted or published after IPCC fifth assessment report. It is imperative to expand the discussion and appreciate the dynamics of urban climate action planning post-AR5 and provide lessons across city types and regions. The webinar will critically analyze the content and structure of urban CAPs adopted or published post-AR5 and examine how these urban CAPs align with selected climate action planning best practices.
