I am honored to be one of the awarded young researcher with the Fernando Pulidori Prize by @IsmecGroup at @ISMEC2023 in Urbino. An ex aequo with another brilliant young researcher.
It is a personal satisfaction to recieve an award in thermodynamic of metal complexes field.
Next our invited speaker is Slawomir Potocki with a talk about “Coordination properties of metal-binding sites of bacterial and fungal virulence proteins”
The last speaker of this session is Vivien Posa with “A comparative study on complexation and biological activity of the anticancer iron chelator VLX600 and its derivatives with essential metal ions”.
Erika Ferrari talks about “On the road to new Oxaliplatin derivatives for colorectal cancer treatment”.
Now it’s the turn of @AleksandraHecel with “Peptidic metallophores as a key to understanding the diverse transport of metal ions in bacteria”
“New insights on structure and antioxidant activity of copper(II) complexes with Hydroxycinnamic acids” by Daniela Valensin.
Now it’s time to listen @dvvkxy presenting “Divalent metal ion binding to Staphylococcus aureus transporters”.
Next up is Massimiliano Peana with “Zn(II) and Cu(II) interaction with peptide models of the recognition interface of ACE2 receptor for SARS-CoV-2 spike protein”.
4th day of #ISMEC2023, @dr_inclan presents “The potential of polyamines in the fight against antimicrobial resistance”
The Last of this day is Gabriele Lando with talk about “Intercalibration network for potentiometric measurements: the case study of EDTA”.
Next up is Giuseppe Brancato “Simulating the chemical equilibria of metal complexes: Insights into the ligand exchange mechanism”.
“Notes and advancements in the development of PyES, an open-source software for the simulation of thermodynamic equilibria in soluble and precipitable systems” by Lorenzo Castellino
Now it’s time to listen @Demetrio_Milea with a talk about “Medium and ionic strength dependence of formation constants. The “pure water” model.”
The last speaker this morning is Denis Bellotti with “A glance at the metal binding ability of fungal ZIP transporters: Zn(II) and Cu(II) interaction with the Zrt2 protein”
