I want to read the books now…
Ever notice that in Dune humans fly spaceships between planets but don't use a single computer? That's not a plot hole. It's completely on purpose. The movies barely explain why, but once you know, almost everything else in Dune starts to make sense. About 10,000 years before Paul Atreides, humans did exactly what we're doing right now. They built thinking machines to make life easier. They let the machines do their work and make their decisions, hoping it would set them free. Instead, the people who controlled those machines gained the power to enslave everyone else. Humanity eventually fought back in a holy war called the Butlerian Jihad, and won. The thinking machines were destroyed. To make sure it would never happen again, they made one rule sacred: "Thou shalt not make a machine in the likeness of a human mind." But getting rid of computers created a problem: who would do their work? The answer was humans. Mentats are trained from childhood to think like computers. Navigators use the spice to glimpse the future and steer ships safely through space. The Bene Gesserit spend generations pushing the human mind and body to their limits. Every superpower in Dune exists for one reason: there are no computers. That's my favorite thing about Dune. It's also the most terrifying. Dune isn't a future without AI. It's the future after AI. Frank Herbert wrote that in 1965.

With all this land in Africa, am I the only one who sees the American projects model here? Nothing healthy about stacking up people like sardines.

Most IT girls date rich men for money, then come to social media and mislead young girls into thinking they make their money from brand deals, podcasts and YouTube. The other day, I asked what Mihlali and Boity do. Before the Kagiso saga, I also asked what Cyan does, and people said she is a DJ who makes money from brand deals. My question is simple: What do these women actually do to afford their expensive lifestyles? I was watching Podcast and Chill, where Lerato Kganyago’s husband said Blue Mbombo pays R115k a month for a rented house. Again, what does Blue do? When MagG speaks about this, he is accused of hating women. When Penuel raises the same issue, people attack him. We had Khanyi Mbau, then Faith Nketsi, and now Cyan. I’m using people we know as examples, but there are many more. My issue is not with women dating rich men. That’s their choice. My problem is that young girls are being misled into thinking these lifestyles come from brand deals and content creation, when there may be more to the story. I’m worried about young girls because they seem to be easily influenced by fake lifestyles on social media. I saw a young girl praising Thuli Phongolo for travelling, living large, and not needing a man who will drain her. But I ask myself, how do we define success when someone gets only one or two gigs a month? These girls see the luxury but never ask where the money comes from. Sometimes, wealthy men are funding these lifestyles. Look at Amanda Du-Pont and her current man. Would he get the same attention from an ordinary village girl if he wasn’t rich? My concern is that young girls are starting to admire expensive lifestyles without understanding the reality behind them. We need to teach them to value real success, hard work, and financial independence, not just money and luxury. Young girls see these women as their role models , and everyone make them believe that all the lavish lifestyle is earned through content creation and brand deals , which is not true . Dear young girls , GO TO SCHOOL AND GET YOUR DEGREES.

Residents of Pretoria East, please note below the latest update regarding Klapperkop and Garsfontein water systems. There’s some progress, but we ask that residents continue to use water sparingly to enable all areas to have water restored. We apologise for the inconvenience caused to residents and businesses.

I am struggling to come to terms with Voting for ActionSA. Aysh, but I don’t have R50million to stop you from taking money from known Zionists. What must we do Mara? Guys can’t we all have a stop order ya R150 every month to fund MK, ATM and ActionSA?
This is the capture of politics. Business donates to political parties so they protect and advance their interests. Also, look into Change Start Now; that party didn’t contest elections and the money donated to them was channeled to other parties. Same as We the People, follow the money and you will see real political capture.

We need new laws on Property Sales, to curb the industry’s greed. Limit foreigners to long-term leases, require permanent residency, impose ownership quotas by suburb & cap the remuneration for sales agents. Strangulation of the foreign market is step 1 followed by remuneration

That Employment Services Amendment Bill (B16–2026) is being misread. It does NOT declare South Africans unwelcome or grant undocumented migrants the right to work. It proposes tighter hiring rules, possible foreign-worker quotas and stronger enforcement. Let’s read it.
Elsewhere, the Minister of No Labour & No Employment, Comrade Nomakhosazana Meth has published the Employment Services Amendment Bill which seeks: • To insert and amend certain definitions in order to clarify expressions in the Act and extend the scope of the Act to cover foreign nationals, private employment agencies not operating for gain, and workers; • To regulate the employment of foreign nationals in South Africa in a manner consistent with the purpose of the Act, the Immigration Act and the Refugees Act… They have us on the ropes right now🤕 All that remains for the unpatriotic GNU politicians from the ANC, the DA— & the rest of the other 8 former opposition parties in the GNU, is to declare all South African-born citizens personae non gratae (undesirables or unwelcome persons). So that, as ruling elites, they can live in peace, side-by-side with their throng of “asylum seekers”.
