Simon has been found dead, reportedly from "suicide." RIP to Simon and to all whistleblowers who have died too young.
The truth about Lutnick will never die
I am the British whistleblower who reported evidence concerning Howard Lutnick, his links to Jeffrey Epstein, and Cantor Fitzgerald and BGC to the FBI in 2020–21.
Listen to the BBC File on 4 documentary about my whistleblower story:

BBC News:
bbc.com/news/articles/c9q28d…
I later shared evidence with the House Oversight Committee, which subsequently questioned Lutnick behind closed doors.
My disclosures also contributed to regulatory action in the US and UK, including a £96m HMRC tax assessment relating to BGC’s partnership scheme. I believe the true tax exposure is substantially higher.
I also reported to the FBI and financial regulators matters involving Cantor Fitzgerald’s Relief Fund and BGC/Cantor’s annual 9/11 Charity Day.
The personal consequences of whistleblowing, and the retaliation I say followed, have been devastating for my family and me.
Mother Jones previously reported that documents I uncovered revealed a years-long business tie between Howard Lutnick, Cantor Fitzgerald and Jeffrey Epstein through AdFin, including a 2018 exchange in which Lutnick and Epstein discussed the company directly:

Follow me here on X and on LinkedIn. I intend to share more of the evidence and the story behind what happened.

This is filth
Braverman is desperate
She knows Fareham won’t re—elect her
& she’s trying to earn as much lucre as possible before she’s ousted
Including publishing a ridiculously daft book
Sad & shameful
Actually pathetic
A black man "I'm an Englishman"
Braverman "well...actually...no you're not"
An MP sitting in an English parliament involved in making laws to protect us all tells every black and brown person BORN here that they aren't actually English- because she set the bar at five generations and set it at white.
How is that patriotism?
Car Crash.

Suella Braverman and Zia Yusuf.
Two brown people who hate the colour of their skin.
They seek approval from the very people who secretly detest them, but see them as useful idiots.
Pathetic and sad.

We are finally seeing right-wing politicians, whose ideas have gone largely unscrutinised for the past decade, buckle under proper scrutiny on Question Time.
More of this, please.

When the Conservative Party was last in power they repeatedly tried to curtail our human rights under the existing convention we’re already apart of.
They passed new anti strike laws designed to rob millions of workers of their democratic right to strike, an Elections Act locked millions of people out of the electoral process and new laws stripped back our right to protest and limited our rights to judicial review.
Would anyone seriously trust that lot with their human rights?
“We would.. come out of the ECHR and repeal the Human Rights Act and not replace it” Tory Shadow Home Secretary Chris Philp tells @SkyNews
NOT REPLACE IT!
The European Convention on Human Rights PROTECTS US ALL
The rights within it – firmly implanted into UK law by the Human Rights Act are the reason why families devastated by disasters like Hillsborough could demand justice, why victims of abuse can seek safety and why disabled people are treated with dignity in care. It grants our right to protest, our right to privacy, our right to fair trials and so much more.
WE MUST PROTECT IT NOT LEAVE IT

🚨 NEW: Kemi Badenoch's Conservatives have blocked Byline Times from attending their party conference, just weeks after she condemned Reform UK for banning critical journalists.
Byline Times chief reporter Josiah Mortimer says his application was rejected without a specific reason.
Earlier in September, Badenoch attacked Reform's treatment of journalists as "authoritarian" and said: "We believe in free speech. We believe in a free press."
The NUJ has now criticised the Conservatives too, warning that political parties should not be able to "pick and choose" which journalists scrutinise them.
The Conservative conference begins in Birmingham on Sunday.

Thames Water is insolvent.
Why on earth is Burnham not nationalising it?
🚨BREAKING
Andy Burnham has just announced that he will repeal Margaret Thatcher’s ideological ban on public ownership of water companies. This is good news, and a sign of just how intensely this government is feeling the pressure from the public.
But this means absolutely nothing if he does not then bring water into public ownership.
Instead, Burnham’s speech doubled down on regulation as a way to fix the crisis in our water system.
This is doomed to fail. When water companies are fined, they pass them on to us. When bonuses are banned, they call them something else.
Burnham has an open goal with Thames Water. The company is insolvent. And the only option to keep it privatised is to hand it over to US hedge funds. Yet Burnham has failed to take them on today.
Andy Burnham must take Thames Water into special administration and keep it in permanent public ownership. And he can use legislation to make it easier to bring other water companies into public hands when they continue to fail to deliver.
It is time for a water system that truly works for us. Public ownership of water now. Nothing less will do.

👏 @OliDugmore absolutely nails the triple lock debate on BBC Question Time.
Protecting pensioners from poverty is essential. But automatically increasing every pension, including those received by wealthy retirees, faster than both wages and prices is not a targeted anti-poverty policy.
Meanwhile, younger generations face stagnant wages, impossible housing costs, student debt, insecure work and the prospect of far less generous retirements themselves.
@andyburnham is not proposing to cut or freeze the state pension. Under his plan, it would continue rising by inflation or 2.5%, whichever is higher, and would catch up whenever it fell behind earnings. What disappears is the arbitrary ratchet that allows pensions continually to pull ahead.
The savings would help fund a National Care Service, something pensioners and their families desperately need.
The triple lock became a sticking plaster for a system that allows housing, energy, food and care costs to spiral. We must protect poorer pensioners directly while repairing that broken system for every generation.
A universal ratchet is not the same thing as social justice.
