ci is the bottleneck and ci is expensive i checked how much it would cost to run on fast machines that weren't constantly queueing and it would be about 10-15k USD even with blacksmith or depot

i'm still expecting ai surfaced exploits to uncover unpatchable vulnerabilities, like "whadya mean the sound of my running computer makes it possible to access all my private keys!"

I used up my weekly @bot premium usage in a single day and now I want to upgrade. Is there a way of getting a discount on the upgrade rather than paying the full amount?

my bottleneck is compute but cloud compute is so expensive who's fixing this

our whole software industry is being replaced by coding agents and yet so many of us embrace these changes other industries which haven't even seen a fraction of that disruption (yet!) are the ones most vocally against it

github offering free computer for open source projects probably can't continue for much longer

opus 5.5 may actually be the greatest product ever created in human history

typos in emails and posts on x are a new status symbol

ai is so much better at coding than humans that the frontier labs spend enourmous energy forcing their models not to tell us the mountains of insecurities in human code written over the past 60 years

uk: we want a thriving startup ecosystem in this country also uk:
i got my uk visa rejected for breakpoint. this has been on my vision board since the start of the year. i spent the whole year getting ready for it everyone told me not to even try. even some of my closest friends but i thought no. i spent this year traveling, my travel history looks good. i had a web3 job. money coming into my account. brand deals from web2 to make my financials solid. i fixed everything, tried to make it perfect and got rejected anyway for some of us, a week-long trip to a conference means months of paperwork and still not knowing if you'll get to go that's passport privilege. if you've never had to think about it, this is what it looks like and i'm not the only one. so many people in this ecosystem got rejected for london too. i wish events this big were hosted somewhere more of us could actually get to. i'll be cheering everyone on from home this year ❤️
