Every year I volunteered to sell poppies.
I have an Austrian accent.
I was ALWAYS politely thanked for offering, but was NEVER
asked to do so.

So this is the Manager of the Weatherspoons (The Star) in Gosport that has banned people wearing the poppy from entering the pub because he says the poppy is a “POLITICAL STATEMENT “
