We are at the Madrid airport waiting for our EL AL flight to Israel. We were warned not to come to Spain due to rampant antisemitism. In 4 days here I saw 1 Palestinian flag and 1 woman with a watermelon pin. Nothing compared to the public Israel/Jew hatred in Toronto.
Prob because Madrid has a right wing mayor unlike say Barcelona. I do recall a bunch of rainbow flags from summer of 2025, but not too many watermelons.
