Aaaaah makes sense now. Silver spoon. Bringing your capital gains from the midwest to formerly modest little cities like Boise is just as bad as what the Californians have been doing for 30 years, you know. It drives real estate costs up for everyone. I hazard a guess it won't register a blip in your bank account. A now-senior citizen who bought a modest home in 1985 Boise to raise a family may no longer be able afford property taxes. I watched this mentality absolutely ruin Utah after more of the world's wealthy "discovered" Salt Lake City during the 2002 Olympics. Utah welcomed the world and the world 💩 on it in return. But hey, enjoy your new playground and all that fine skiing. Eventually you'll tire of it and move on to ruin somewhere else, leaving real Idahoans in your dust. I mourn the old west. It's gone forever. Enjoy!

I have another 20-30 zucchini, about 150 baby heirloom tomatoes and some sage and basil to pick today before the first freeze comes this weekend.
Then it is cooking, sauce making, freezing, baking and sharing weekend.
