Warmth spread through your head, and your thoughts began to slip away. The dungeon seemed so far away now. Why were you even in such a hurry? Staying here felt so much easier... You barely noticed yourself sinking down beside the wall, still clutching the boot close. And that's when Impy came around the corner. She stopped. Looked at you. Looked at the boot. A little grin crept across her face. “Hehe~ Oh my gosh, seriously~? 🤭💕” Your head snapped up. You tried to come up with an excuse, but your thoughts were all tangled up. “Shhhh, idiot~ It's okayyy~ I won't tell anyone.” She crouched beside you, brushing a little dust off your shoulder like she was helping you after a difficult battle. “Besides... if you like it that much, you don't have to pretend with me~” You tried to pull away, but Impy was already reaching for the other boot. “Awww, don't be shy~ Here, let me help you a little~” With a gentle but insistent hand, she settled the boot over your nose, keeping it right where she wanted it. Your thoughts dissolved into a warm, hazy blur, and the last scraps of your resistance slipped away. “Hehehee~ There we gooo~ See? Nothing to worry about, sweetie~ Just relax~” While you sat there dazed, Impy's eyes wandered to your adventurer's pouch. “Ooooh~ What's all this, then~? Gold coins? Rare gems? And you were keeping all these pretty things to yourself~?
