Vulnerability: Women and children remain disproportionately vulnerable to modern slavery.
Geographic Distribution: Modern slavery occurs in almost every country in the world, cutting across ethnic, cultural, and religious lines. More than half (52%) of all forced labor and a quarter of all forced marriages can be found in upper-middle-income or high-income countries.
Sector Distribution: Most cases of forced labor (86%) are found in the private sector, with forced labor in sectors other than commercial sexual exploitation accounting for a significant portion.

Most people think organ donation is a good thing, their attitude being “well, I won’t need my organs once I’m dead so why waste them?”
Most people don’t have the first clue about how it works and what it involves.
Most people don’t even know about the rule change back in 2020 which means, unless you opt out, you’re automatically a donor.
Most people don’t know that your organs can be harvested even if you’ve opted out.
Most people don’t know that the idea of ‘brain death’ was introduced to facilitate organ harvesting.
Most people don’t realise that a body has to be alive when organs are removed and that a living body can feel pain, whether it’s been paralysed by drugs or not.
If you haven’t opted out of the organ donation system yet, please do some research.
