The Chancellor admitted that Scotland’s energy wealth would now be over £1 trillion.
But this wealth doesn’t exist — because the UK Government squandered it and pocketed the profits.
And that’s why Scottish households are paying £1200 more for their energy bills than Labour promised.
Taking control of our energy is not only crucial to build the wealth for Scotland’s future — it’s the only way to ensure that energy rich Scotland isn’t paying some of the highest bills across Europe.
Why "independence" can be a positive for @theSNP
Why “independence”
"The launch of Independence shows that the energy which built this party is alive and well. It brings fresh ideas, new campaigners and members ready to roll up their sleeves. The SNP should open the door to it."

One thing we have found since our launch is that hardcore unionists really don't like the idea of this group pushing for independence to always be front and centre!
The American Midterms show what’s possible when you offer hope and dare to do politics differently.
People across Scotland are crying out for that same hope and ambition.
It’s our job, as @theSNP, to offer it.
Let's give Scotland a reason to believe again.

🗳️ If Brexit can be put back on the table, Scottish independence can too. Westminster pretending otherwise is pure hypocrisy!

I understand peoples reticence when a new Indy Group forms. But I believe this one is a positive for our Party and the wider movement...

Our five asks are simple: a Constitutional Convention, a national independence campaign, a Government Independence Unit, Scotland’s right to choose at the ballot box and a clear delivery plan.
The foundations for independence need to be built now.

📊Another poll showing majority support for independence.
But polling is showing a growing gap between support for independence and support for the SNP.
As a party we must ask ourselves why?

Frustration can defeat you, or you can turn it into something positive. Independence can be that positive. That is why I have joined. After 30 years in this party,

More power is always welcome, but our focus should be on all powers, not more.
We urge the SNP leadership to put party policy into action and kick off the civic campaign for independence.
