Embassy of India in Brazzaville celebrated the 77th Republic Day of India on Monday, 26th January 2026, at the Chancery premises. Ambassador H.E. Mr. Madan Lal Raigar unfurled the National Flag, followed by the singing of the National Anthem. Thereafter, the Ambassador read the Address to the Nation by the Hon’ble President of India, H.E. Mrs. Droupadi Murmu. The celebrations also featured cultural performances highlighting India’s rich heritage, diversity, and patriotic spirit. The event was attended with great enthusiasm by members of the Indian community, Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs), and friends of India in the Republic of Congo.

Colonel STEVE MANZA MBITSI-IGNOUMBA, National Search and Rescue Coordinator, has been nominated by the Government of the Republic of Congo to participate in SAREX-26, to be conducted by the Indian Coast Guard (ICG) from 6 to 9 November 2026 in Odisha, India. Following an orientation session, Colonel STEVE MANZA MBITSI IGNOUMBA had a meeting with Mr. Dinen K. Bordoloi, Chargé d’Affaires at the Embassy of India in Brazzaville. During the meeting, he received his visa and air ticket for his upcoming travel to India to attend the exercise. Following an orientation session, Mr. NGASSIKI had a meeting with Mr. Dinen K. Bordoloi, Cd’A at the Embassy of India, Brazzaville. During the meeting, he received his visa and air ticket for his upcoming travel to India. Ces formations seront dispensées par les Gardes-côtes indiens (ICG) du 5 au 30 octobre 2026, au Centre de formation des Gardes-côtes (CGTC) à Kochi, en Inde. À l’issue de la séance d’orientation, M. NGASSIKI a été reçu par M. Dinen K. Bordoloi, Chargé d’Affaires a.i. de l’Ambassade de l’Inde à Brazzaville. Cette rencontre a notamment été marquée par la remise de son visa ainsi que de son billet d’avion, en prévision de son prochain déplacement en Inde.
