I have this photo of you with Sting makeup and Cactus Jack's barbed-wire bat on Pinterest a long time ago and haven't found it anywhere since. Just wanted to show you this

As much as I love the @WWE and @AEW and all the others out there doing there thing. It can never be this great. We believed this. I had watched Dusty and Ole hate for my entire childhood. And then on the Superstation bang. I wanted Ole dead!! Damn I miss the territories!

Sad to hear about the passing of Bill Dundee. Always kind & fun to share a locker room with. I believe his last match was at the Bobby Eaton event we ran (from the picture). Rest easy Superstar.

Bill Dundee was a Memphis Wrestling icon — phenomenal physical condition, the ladies loved him & could work with ANYONE.
His feud & tag team with Jerry “The King” Lawler is some of the greatest wrestling television you will ever see.
RIP SUPERSTAR

We say goodbye to another legend today 🕊️
Bill Dundee has passed away at the age of 82, leaving behind a legacy that reaches far beyond the championships he won.
Known as “Superstar” Bill Dundee, he became one of the defining figures of Memphis wrestling, where his legendary rivalry with Jerry “The King” Lawler helped create some of the most memorable moments in regional wrestling history.
But Dundee was more than just a performer, he was also a brilliant creative mind whose booking and storytelling helped define the golden age of Memphis wrestling.
For decades, Dundee showed that wrestling was about more than athletic ability. It was about characters, emotion, rivalries, and giving fans moments they would never forget.
From the ring to the creative side of the business, his influence helped shape generations of wrestlers and fans.
Rest in peace, “Superstar” Bill Dundee. A true wrestling legend whose impact will never be forgotten. 🕯️

I woke up to the sad & tragic news that Bill Dundee and The Butcher Andy Williams died. Bill made it to 83. Still very sad, but he lived a long life & is one of the greatest ever from Memphis wrestling. Andy being 48 hits different. Almost a decade younger than me & we saw he was still enjoying the shit out of music & wrestling. Taken way too damn soon. Rest in peace to both men. 🙏

Rest in Peace Superstar Bill Dundee, one of the all-time legends of Memphis wrestling, who also did so much more in over 40 years in the ring, and was a prominent booker in Memphis as well as Georgia and Louisiana. Perhaps Jerry Lawler’s greatest in-ring rival/partner.

Rest in Peace Bill Dundee. He really helped me out in Watts territory. He was a really good guy. I only saw him a few times after that but thinking of his family today!
