$6.3 billion is the biggest in USD terms, but not in BTC terms. MtGox was 650,000 BTC!
Other important numbers to consider:
% of bitcoin (in relation to BTC total supply), ie, market impact. MtGox is big there again at 5%+.
Number of users impacted, and % of user assets impacted. MtGox (the largest CEX at the time) and FTX (not small) were all near 100% of users and their asseets.
Most important: Who is impacted? Does the platform cover it all? (only one victim), as in recent two CEX cases and Binance.
Obviously, still a major disaster for the industry, Binance (and me). It hurts, but we survive.
Most importantly, we protect our users.

🚨SHOCKING: Intel suffers its WORST crash in more than 50 years despite BEATING earnings estimates.
$INTC plunged nearly 29% on Friday, wiping out nearly $140 BILLION in a single day.
Its data center and AI revenue jumped 78% year over year, but Intel guided Q4 revenue to $15 to $16 BILLION, well below the $17.1 BILLION Wall Street expected.
Intel cited a PC slowdown tied to memory chip prices and shortages, plus an accident at its Israel factory.
That's a bigger drop than Intel's 26% crash in August 2024, which wiped out more than $30 BILLION.
The stock is now 54% below its June record high.
🚨HUGE: Intel $INTC PLUNGES as much as 30%, wiping out over $100 BILLION and heads toward the BIGGEST one-day crash in its history.
A close below roughly $68 would mark its WORST DAY since 1974.

I am okay with Kimi 3.1 deliberately leaving out top-end offensive cyber capabilities from their training data.
Discriminating against use cases is MUCH less bad than discriminating against users. And the world does need all the time it can get to prepare, harden, check old code, (properly) formally verify new code, etc before the full weight of very powerful cyber attacks is upon us.
And if this first big wave of AI risk is not handled well, then we may well get a dystopia of highly locked down models, KYC gating on everything, highly intrusive surveillance on everything, a society where you may be a second or third or fourth-class citizen in terms of model access based on your credentials and nationality.

Big congratulations to the @zksync airbender team for this milestone.
At this point, I consider the battle for speed to be definitively won, and the top priority for zkEVMs should shift fully to security.
To me that means formally verifying
(i) equivalence of the arithmetization to the ethereum spec
(ii) a hard maximum bound on (prover cost) / (amount of gas in block)
(iii) security of the proof system itself
