canary's staked inj etf, injc, listed on nasdaq on november 5. it holds inj, injective's native token, and plans to stake at least 90% of it. this lets brokerage investors hold inj and earn staking income, after a 30% cut of rewards and a 1.10% yearly fee. but the injective foundation was expected to supply the first $15m of assets in inj, so that was not new buying. new spot demand comes only from cash creations, because those need inj purchases.

Layer 1 Blockchain Injective (Staked!) ETF listing this week
Canary Staked INJ ETF $INJC
Fees: 1.10%
Staking rewards: ETF keeps 70%
Reward rate: Implied ~6.8% annualized as of 15 Sep 2026. That rests on 4.40% issuance, ~47.2% of supply bonded and a 5% community tax.
Unbonding: 21-day period, with no rewards and no transfers during it. Redemption liquidity depends on the unstaked buffer and the sponsor's liquidity policy. No credit facility is in place yet.
Slashing: Forfeiture is set to zero as of 15 Sep 2026, so the penalty is jailing or tombstoning only. Governance can raise it at any time, and any increase applies automatically to the Trust.
