Healing is a dynamic, coordinated process that relies on energy transformation and signaling from mitochondria. Sudies have shown that our cells can also sense and respond to mechanical, electrical, light, and other forces. These forces have the potential to shape healing and regeneration.
Understanding how biophysical signals affect our cells and tissues can give us valuable insights that may advance biomedical research and lead to new treatments. It seems likely that the future of medicine is one where individually dosed and targeted biophysical signals are delivered to support help us heal, transform, and flourish into our full health potential.
