Do people even understand what women go through to bring a child into this world? Pregnancy and childbirth are not easy journeys. From carrying a baby for nine months to enduring labor, complications, emergency CS, or even a normal delivery, women go through so much physically and emotionally.
Yes, pregnancy is not always fatal, but that doesn’t mean it should be spoken about so casually, as if women have nothing to worry about.
Every woman’s experience is different, and some women fight battles during pregnancy that others may never understand.
Before making such statements from the comfort of your home, remember that women have lost their lives trying to bring new life into this world.
Mummy Zee owes women an apology. We can celebrate motherhood without downplaying the risks, pain, and sacrifices that come with it.

SOLUDO’S HEALTHY WORKPLACE INITIATIVE: ANSACA TAKES COMPREHENSIVE HEALTH SCREENING TO SOPROM HOTEL, ONITSHA
The Anambra State AIDS Control Agency (ANSACA), in furtherance of Governor Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo’s Healthy Workplace Compliance Initiative, has extended its workplace health screening and prevention services to Soprom Hotel and Suites, 3-3, Onitsha, on October 28, 2026.
The exercise featured free screening for HIV, Hepatitis B and C, Tuberculosis (TB), and Malaria, alongside health education, counselling and preventive healthcare awareness.
The initiative, driven by ANSACA, reflects Governor Soludo’s commitment to building a healthier, safer and more productive workforce through early disease detection, improved access to essential healthcare services and the promotion of healthy workplace practices across Anambra State.
ANSACA reaffirmed its commitment to expanding the Healthy Workplace Compliance Initiative across public and private establishments in all 21 Local Government Areas, while strengthening HIV prevention, reducing stigma and promoting a culture of regular health screening.
