#Seahawks OC Brian Fluery says that he is comfortable with Drew Lock: "He is comfortable executing, particularly against this defense. It was easy to put the plans together once we got the news that he was going to get the starter." OC Fluery says he has a lot of confidence in Lock. OC Fluery was happy with the new pieces that had to be put in place and the movement [like players] as well: "There is room for growth, and I am excited to see that growth." Top priority to address: "Execution on threads down." OC Fluery said this: "I mean, it's challenging for sure. I didn't take the job. thinking it was going to be easy. I knew the expectations were high. I knew there was a good roster. But every single NFL season I've been a part of has come with challenges, and it's about being able to solve problems, being able to work as a collective group, as a coaching staff, then working with the players to solve the problem in the best possible way and move forward to go out and give us a chance to win football games." OC Fluery on Zach Charbonnet and Jadarian Price: "They are both in different phases of getting back up to full speed in terms of ramp-up and their conditioning. The workload is relative to that. And then there are definitely plays within the game plan that would prefer to have one over the other based on distributing the workload" OC Flurey said he had some idea that Sam Darnold was going through something during the #Bears game: "A little bit out of the ordinary." OC Flurey said they wanted to run certain plays for Quenton Nelson to get him comfortable with the carries that he did, like blocking-wise, from when he was with the #Colts. OC Flurey on whether the team should have started Anthony Bradford instead of Grey Zabel vs. Chicago to give Zabel more time to practice his new position: "No, there was no thought in that direction. We felt that Grey gave us the best chance to win." Photo credit: Seahawks Press Pass

Drew Lock starting against a bottom 5 defense will create some takes on here

This is pure gold! Abdul El-Sayed trolling Trump and JD Vance after winning Michigan’s Senate race: “JD, habibi, there is this delicious irony in the fact that you’re constitutionally obligated to swear me in, in January.” “Donald, look, I know you struggle with my name, so after JD swears me in, you can just go on and call me Senator.”

This is the first time in my life that a offensive coordinator broke me. 25 years of rooting for the #Seahawks I have HARDLY complained about a offensive coordinator EVER. But annoyance sure. Ryan Grubb, Shane Waldron and the last season of Darrell Bevell. But tonight it took 8 games for OC Brian Fleury to brake me. I tried so hard to hold on and be patient but I couldn't. Brian Fleury is not connecting with Sam Darnold and I believe that Jake Peetz can rekindle that fire under Darnold. But thank you for ending my 25 year streak I guess.

Oh damn, surprised they called that on JSN
