We have dedicated voices at the heart of government, that's what our First Ministers are They are the dedicated voices who lead their countries' governments and liaise with the UK Government The Welsh, Scottish and Northern Irish secretaries are, pretty much, redundant
I have great respect for Mark but he’s wrong here 👇 It’s important Wales, Scotland & N.Ireland have dedicated voices at the heart of UKGov We are distinctly different nations & require representation in Cabinet Proud we have @SKinnock at the table🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🇬🇧 bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cm4g…

The most stable figure in Number 10 and he's as tough as nails 💚 When he eventually passes, though, he better get a State Funeral. He deserves one 🫡
🚨 NEW: No 10 confirms Larry the Cat is "recovering well" after a "minor operation" to remove a cyst "He is feline much better but taking things one paw at a time"

My favourite musical of all time and I can't wait to see it again next week at His Majesty's Theatre 😊
It's remarkable what a few notes can come to mean over forty years. Forty years on, and it still feels very special to play these chords. Happy 40 years to @PhantomOpera 🌹 #Phantom40 #AndrewLloydWebber #PhantomoftheOpera

It appears it's all going a bit pear-shaped in the Reform ranks. Like UKIP before them, they'll be reduced to having no influence at all before long It's a particularly sad state of affairs that we have to witness this happening in Welsh politics
Several people have been in touch about the rumours in Cardiff Bay over the last few days about an impending defection of an MS from the Reform group to the Conservatives. I have been trying to stand this up but there is nothing concrete. The Welsh Conservatives have denied any conversations have even taken place. The rumours seem to have stemmed an altercation on the Senedd estate which involved several Reform MSs shouting at each other. I approached Reform for comment and, at present, they haven't responded.

This is a birthday treat and a half I must say 🥳 I'm cautiously optimistic but will have to contained my excitement a bit. We have been disappointed more than once on the issue of a Third Menai Crossing as Rhun himself knows, but it's a positive first step 🙂
Plans for a third Menai crossing are back on the table! Mae Llywodraeth Plaid Cymru yn benderfynol o ddod o hyd i ddatrysiadau i’r heriau sy’n wynebu ein cymunedau ac yn dal ein heconomi yn ôl. This is Plaid Cymru delivering for every part of Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Hywel Dda for me, which I certainly won't complain about 🙂 He seems very solution-driven from what I've read and he's famous for codifying Welsh law It's what Grok has suggested for me anyway, so I won't comment on accuracy 😅
I actually got David Lloyd George for mine, lmao. Which isn't bad, bar the Treaty of Versailles and meeting Hitler for a pint thing. He was a very competent and successful Welshman.

Joe Martin might like to return to school and learn what rules are and how they work, because he's clearly incapable of following the Senedd's Code of Conduct that he signed up to And if he doesn't like it, he's perfectly at liberty to resign. I doubt he'll be missed by anyone

Only problem with him resigning is he'd get replaced by Mark Reckless, who's reckless by name and reckless by nature Reform really scraped the bottom of the barrel in Caerdydd Penarth

Does anyone have a spare lettuce available? We might need one to find out how much longer Stephen Kinnock remains in the Wales Office after making such a crass comment If he had morals, he'd take this down
The Russian foreign minister is mocking and celebrating Plaid Cymru's determination to break up the UK. Plaid and Reform want to turn us into Putin’s parrots. @WelshLabour know we are a nation of dragons. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c6j9…

Labour haven't learnt the significance of being voted out of government after 27 years. Now it feels like they're actively punishing the electorate for rejecting them Local devolution isn't inherently an issue, but Local Government is a devolved area
We want to build a Wales for everyone, by everyone. Devolution was never meant to stop at Cardiff Bay. Yet Wales is set to become the most centralised nation in the UK. We want to work with the Welsh Government to empower our communities.

I'm not against giving local authorities more powers, but we can't have a system where some of those powers are devolved in Wales whilst others aren't. Otherwise we end up with a two tier system of accountability and everything becomes an administrative nightmare

The Welsh Government has a clear mandate for extra powers. The Senedd has a clear majority in favour of extra powers. Westminster continues to ignore the will of the electorate, no matter who's in charge Labour is not the party of devolution anymore
