My take
OpenAI sets the precedent for AI-native advertising.
Pro: Targeting specific user segments gets easier as the platform matures.
Con: Every other AI provider now has license to push ad integration harder.
The real question isn't whether users leave.
Rather "ads on free, clean on paid" stays true.
Furthermore, OpenAI's promise that ads never shape answers is the line that decides whether we trust any of it.
