lmao @InviscidFluid got this kaveri engine funding billboard in downtown
i built a city for x users!
it's called xfield and everyone who lives there is from x. sign in and your house gets built next to the people you reply to the most. your mutuals are your neighbours, your reply guys live down the street and your pfp is right there on the map
if you're in someone's circle there's already a dark house with your face on it next to theirs. only you can turn the lights on
it's basically the timeline but with real estate. you make money off ships, trade with your mutuals and settle beef with 30 second crane duels. there's a city chat, a newspaper, and billboards on the stadium and the train if you want your face on them
every monday the top 10 earners move into mansions. the first mayor gets picked on nov 9 and takes 2% of every ship in the city
200 houses. after that you live on top of someone else's building
claim yours today!

Have you seen a regionalist, a leftist, or an Islamist tweeting in this manner?
It's primarily the BJP support base that fights the MAGA racists and talks with excitement about rocket launches and nuclear energy, etc.
Modi is perhaps the closest you can get to a Deng in a functional multi party democracy
According to World Bank's latest report, India's extreme poverty has fallen from 27.6% to just under 2.6%.
And for Indians living under Rs. 400 a day (lower middle income), it has come down from 57.7% of the population to 16.1%.
Remarkable achievement by India given the rupee depreciated and the inflationary pressure of a fast growing economy.
If you read Valmiki Ramayana, you won't like Ravan.
If you read Ved Vyasa Mahabharat, you won't like Karna.
If you depend on pop-culture, modern retellings, novels of ancient epics, you would like Ravan & Karna.

Indians have no idea how other countries fk the environment to build up industrial corridors and factories.
Here's South Korea, they cut god knows how many trees to build semiconductor fab.
Serious countries, Serious building

India is the only country in the world where Environmental projects measure how many trees are cut. Sentiment is driven by large sounding figures which are tiny in the big picture. 32490 trees sounds scary, 2 square kilometers does not.
They have become increasingly unhinged because BJP has simultaneously broken their electoral veto, their street veto and their terror networks. Elections have consequences.

A lot of issues we have as a society is because of delayed operating hours. 7:30 baje economy start ho jaani chahiye, and except poha/tapri, nothing's open at that hour.
You don't have evening time because you're starting day at 11. Maintain circadian rhythm of the economy.

The entire chain of energy has critical parts.
Having the oil fields is just one of them.
Ability to get that oil to the refinery/port is as critical as having the oil field (ask Kuwait how last 8 months have been or Alberta who can send their oil at will to Asia)
Pipelines. Shipping lines. Vessels. Crew.
And then comes refineries. One of the most under funded infrastructure in this chain. US has not built major capacity in over 30yrs (which is why it imports refined fuel). Europe same. Canada same.
Dhiru bhai understood this. He couldn’t find oil fields. Pipeline was oversupplied. Shipping wasn’t profitable enough. And everyone at that time was building refinery for light sweet Arab oil or Texas oil.
Dhiru bhai went for the tougher assignment- refinery, the biggest in the world, build to refine the worst kind of crude (heavy sour)
But why this?
Because the profits are highest - no one wants refine this crude, so seller offer discount but the final product sells at market price.
Dhiru bhai also built the refinery to withstand a 9 scale earthquake which is why it survived the 2001 earthquake
Today, Jamnagar is a critical piece in the world of energy. India. Doesn’t have oil. But India has 2 things:
1. Mega refineries
2. Indian sailors who are critical for moving oil
Build more ports.
Build more refineries.
Build ships.
And while I am here, build that transshipment port in Nicobar
Marco Rubio apparently went to Jamnagar because the Reliance refinery there is one the very few oil refineries in the world which can process Venezuelan Crude oil.
And USA desperately needs someone who can refine it for them
This is where we need to tip our hat to the vision of Reliance and the Ambanis.
Imagine the foresight and risk appetite of Dhirubhai and Mukesh Ambani, who thought of establishing one of the largest refineries in the world, a refinery that can process almost any type of crude oil, in India.
A country which has no oil of its own.
Most of see the wealth, market cap, value and power of Ambanis and Reliance
Few of us see the risks behind it

Why India Must Reject Jean Drèze's Povertarianism
Jean Drèze’s economic framework focused on guaranteed 100 days of work and five kilograms of grain a month. But his framework also treats growth as secondary, and India's poor have gained most wherever it was set aside.
