Prosthetic limbs allow amputees the ability to manipulate objects, walk up stairs, and better fit into our 4-limbed world, but for hundreds of years, comfort still plagues people who use them. Chafing, rashes, muscle and join pain come with the territory but co-counders Dr. Rachel Eike and Bahar H. Esfahani are designing a better fitting system.
Dr. Eike is a professor at Iowa State University and Esfahani is a Graduate Research Assistant who participated on this project in class. What started as a class project has turned into a full-fledged business the pair hopes will deliver much-needed comfort to amputees across the globe.

Cournoyer discusses her top waste targets and one program she will leave in place from the current Auditor's office. She's asked about concerns from the last election cycle from prominent Iowa Republicans on her predecessor's lack of CPA experience. Is that still a concern?
