How long will this theatre go on?
While Canadians can’t afford food and homes, Mr. Carney has distracted for months with big talk about “Associate Membership” with Europe. Now, Europe has rejected it.
For the next two days, we will be distracted again from the cost-of-living crisis with wall-to-wall media coverage on yet another grand theatrical meeting to sign a bunch of meaningless declarations filled with big words (catalyze, anyone?) and promises to meet again to talk more. No one’s mortgage or grocery bill will come down.
We already have a free trade deal with Europe, Mr. Carney. Get the 9 countries who have not ratified it to do so. And get EU countries to let our beef into the continent and cancel their planned carbon tariff on Canada. Otherwise stop wasting your time and our money. Both are running out.

I have put together every single screenshot I could find from the PMO documents where Carney has said “In a dangerous and divided world”
Every yellow highlight you see is him saying or using that line.
Out of 123 press releases, statements, videos & speeches he said it 146 times!
This is a high res jpeg, so you can zoom in and see each one.
I’d say him using that line on Canadians has gone too far.

The EU is going to tariff Canada because we don't have a CBAM program. Is this all just a ploy, an excuse for Carney to bring in a CBAM, a carbon border adjustment mechanism, essentially a new carbon tax into Canada?

Look at this misleading headline from CTV.
Headline: "B.C.'s incoming premier doesn't support tanker ban reversal pitched by Poilievre"
What Lorne Doerkson actually said:
“I don’t accept that we have to choose between protecting our coast and building our economy,” Doerkson went on to write. “British Columbia will do both.”
CTV is fabricating a situation to attack Poilievre. There's no place in Canada for this dishonest bullcrap.

Ursula #vonderLeyen wants to lure Canada into an associate EU membership.
Will Mark Carney do right and tell von der Leyen to bugger off? If he won't, then the Canadian people will have to fix it, and maybe a new freedom convoy would then be in order.
