❗️Russia struck a residential building in Sumy with a drone. In total, at least seven aerial bombs were dropped on the city.

One person was killed and seven others were injured in a russian drone strike on a train in the Kharkiv Oblast!

I haven’t seen my parents in over two years. They are finally coming to see me, and russia is now attacking the border with Poland, exactly where they will have to cross. I waited so long to feel happy about this journey. Instead, I’m terrified.

I used to believe in Europe’s “unwavering support for Ukraine.” Now I believe in it more than ever. I’m quite certain Europe will do everything necessary to keep Ukraine alive — just enough to keep holding the line, just enough to keep russia occupied here, just enough to make sure the war stays on Ukrainian soil. Some European politicians no longer even seem embarrassed to say the quiet part out loud: as long as Ukraine is fighting russia, their countries are safer. What a remarkable definition of solidarity. We have become Europe’s human shield. And meanwhile, the war is getting worse. I honestly struggle to remember another period when attacks felt this relentless. Kyiv barely seems to know silence anymore. Dnipro, Sumy, Kharkiv, Odesa are struck again and again. Cities in Donetsk Oblast are being methodically destroyed. You open the news to read about one attack, and before you finish, there is already another. Another city. Another residential building. Another list of dead and injured. The previous attack barely has time to become news before it is replaced by the next one. So yes, I believe Europe will continue to support Ukraine. The question I no longer know how to ignore is whether the goal is to help Ukraine end this war — or simply to make sure we can continue fighting it for everyone else.

❗️Four people were killed and 62 were injured, including two rescuers, in russian drone attack on Pavlohrad.

Footage shows the first minutes following the russian strike on a shopping center in Sumy. As of now, three people are reported killed and 14 injured.

Russia has just struck an apartment building in Kyiv with a drone – the second such attack today. Terror is russia’s strategy.

Update. Three bodies were found at the site of the russian drone strike on Chuhuiv — a 45-year-old man, his 19-year-old daughter, and his 11-year-old son.

There should probably be another word for what comes as you watch your country burn under endless enemy attacks. Hatred feels too small. Anger feels temporary. Rage doesn’t quite contain it either. Whatever it is, it’s overwhelming me.

The fire caused by yesterday’s russian attack on warehouses in Kyiv Oblast’s Bucha district is still burning. As of now, 27 people are reported killed, while another 42 were injured, including four children.

“How can this be, Mom? I can’t bear this…” A man screams these words after finding his elderly parents badly wounded by a russian FPV drone as they were trying to flee Druzhkivka. His mother was critically wounded and later died in hospital. His father was also severely injured. “Why are we being punished like this?” his father cries in the video. They were simply trying to leave the town. A russian drone followed them on the road and struck them.

In 2024, russia bombed an Epicentr hypermarket in Kharkiv, killing 19 people. I remember the horror. The condemnations. The promises of consequences, support, air defense. Today, two years later, russia struck another Epicentr in Kharkiv. The world has let Ukraine down.
