💔BURGER has such a sad story and now he's going to be euthanized Wednesday 10/14 if No one saves him💔 📍SAN BERNARDINO, CA SHELTER 💔His Story: Burger was surrendered by his owner in August 2026. He was very thin and lethargic and had several scars around his muzzle, face and chest. Within a couple of weeks, he became very sick. He clearly was never vaccinated or given proper care. PCR test results showed Mycoplasma cynos +, Canine Pneumovirus + He was treated with antibiotics and has since improved, but he's so terrified in the shelter. His past life must have been HELL for him. Burger is now on the 10/14/26 euthanasia list at City of San Bernardino Animal Services for the length of time he's been there. No one wants to adopt a scared and scarred dog. I hope a kind soul feels this is their mission and saves Burger's life. Root & Rise is a small, family-run honor-system farmstand owned by Amber and Brett. They bake slow-rise sourdough loaves, brownies, pies, cinnamon rolls, bagels, and other from-scratch treats. Yesterday this man loaded up and walked off with a huge armful of their work. Honor system does not mean free. When someone does this, it doesn’t just hit Amber and Brett—it hits the whole family’s hard work, the early mornings, the effort, the ingredients, and the trust that lets small farmstands like this even exist. He shot his own German Shepherd in the face with a rifle. Now it's a misdemeanor. Sky is about 7. A neighbor who cared for him called him one of the sweetest dogs she'd ever met. June 28, Hamburg, New York. Police find Sky hurt in the backyard. A single gunshot wound to the face. The day before, police say, his owner Dennis Rutkowski, 62, called them twice asking them to destroy the dog. Police say he claimed Sky was possessed. Picture your dog. Trusting you. Then the rifle. He was charged with a felony. On Friday he pleaded guilty to attempted aggravated cruelty. A misdemeanor. He faces up to 364 days. That's the ceiling. Until sentencing, he's free on probation supervision. Sky lived. He's been adopted. Sky got a new home. The man who shot him got a misdemeanor. Sentencing is Dec 8 before Justice Debra Givens. 🚨THESE REFS ARE ABSOLUTELY AWFUL. Jalen Hurts threw the ball from his own end zone, launching it nearly 30 YARDS over his receiver’s head. The refs claimed there was a tight end in the area, despite the ball landing NOWHERE NEAR HIM. THIS IS A SAFETY.

A mother's love is immense. The dog mom cared for her puppies until she was exhausted and unconscious. She was always by her side, never abandoning her. Fortunately, a man passing by saw them and rescued them.
