Border League tomorrow in Las Vegas — always the best preseason event for the high school hoop scene after such a long break since the grassroots season — so many NBA scouts will be in the building — Shoutout to Jeff Kaufman, Grant Rice and company for this every single year.

Unrealistic offers make players feel they are that level and turn their nose up to their real level ! And the early offers also make their real level not recruit them because they feel that can’t get them

I know y’all want early offers for your kids/ players. Sometimes early praise lowers the ceiling of a player/ person though. Can make the circle delusional too.
I know YOU want it, but can THEY handle it?
Means nothing unless you’re good enough when it’s time to be good enough
